“The food was delicious. Every bite is packed with flavor. If you aren't able to handle spicy food let the server know. If you aren't familiar with the cuisine, I'd recommend going with a group of friends who are adventurous eaters. The food is easy to share with others especially if you order small plates and appetizers along with the big dishes. The way our meal was served was in increments - bringing one dish out at a time, and I think that was a clever way of introducing the flavors. I would highly recommend ordering the Amok Trei (fish) it is flavoured in a coconut based sauce and is absolutely mouth watering. If you have a seafood allergy I would double check before going. I believe a lot of the dishes contain fish, fish sauce, or fish or shrimp paste.”

“The food was ok. The highlight was the customer service. My family and I arrived for dinner on a Saturday night to find the restaurant being set up for a private party. We were originally told only take out was available but the owner came to get us after we walked out to offer a table. We went back in, a table was set for us and the rest of the service was great. We gladly accepted the free glass of wine we were each offered and will come back again.”

“Ever since i moved to rogers park i had this with my girlfriend for a special dinner. We love going there, Badou and Paula are such great host welcoming us to their restaurant, and if you are the only ones there you get to feel like it's going to a friend's home who is dying to cook for you. I get the yassa, it's a mustard chicken, amazingly seasoned with only God knows and so spicy. The appetizers and sauces are great too.”

“This place has a great atmosphere, and a good selection of drinks and food. They also offer a gluten free meal with alterations that can be made to some items, and a list of dishes which are already gluten free. Food arrived quickly, and almost every dish was extremely good. Bacon wrapped dates, baked goat cheese, coffee flan, and spicy potatoes were highlights. The paella had great texture but was a touch light on seasoning. Shortribs, meatballs, croquettes all hit the mark. The only true miss for us was the gourmet ice cream, where the blue cheese and paprika chocolate chip didn't quit balance one another. Great service, reasonable prices and delicious food would bring me back again for sure.”
