“Starting point for Autism of Illinois Fund Raiser bike ride. Location is always very clean. Bathrooms are open to the homeless so sometimes there not in the best of shape. Illinois should be commended for the Madison County Trail”

“Well maintained quiet little park. Pea gravel track that’s is 1/3 mile, strollers can be used on, and is partial sun partial shade. Metal play ground with coating, swings, and small book exchange along with a large goal/target wall. Roller hockey rink next to play area- all inside the track area. Large covered pavilion with coated metal picnic tables and trash cans. Mostly flat ground but does have hills leading up to the park that can be used too.”

“Easy to find a parking lot to sit and eat lunch or dinner with nobody around!! Basketball courts Lit pavilions Frisbee golf Playgrounds for kids, with rock-climbing walls (most 6-10yr old kids love these) Multiple restroom locations Also, really nice place to sit and get your mind right if you wanna get away and think for awhile. Reason for 4-stars? Doesn't appear to be any grounds/landscaping maintenance. Not really the most beautiful place to sit. I will say, however, that's it's always peaceful when I'm here.”

“A rugged hike, so start early! Amazing views! We hiked to Bridal Wreath Falls which was about 3 miles in and out. The falls were a trickle, but still worth the hike.”
