“My 1st time at Draft Picks in Mount Prospect and I wanted to try something new and different before the big day of my kidney donation surgery. The lovely waitress recommended the grilled cheese burger…which is. A burger in-between two grilled cheese 🧀 sandwiches with grilled onions!!! I cut the burger in 1/2 so you can see it on the picture. 🙃 Absolutely delicious 🤤 I couldn’t finish the whole thing and was able to save the other half. The Buffalo Crispy Chicken sandwich was lightly breaded tossed in buffalo sauce, pepper jack cheese, lettuce and tomato 🍅. The sauce was scrumptious and the chicken was soft and crispy. The burgers did not fall apart and we were able to enjoy our meal with the family. The fries 🍟 were hot crispy and pickles were a great garnish to our burgers. Great atmosphere. They have huge televisions where you can easily look up and watch the game. Go cubbies! Plenty of seating area where you can book and have huge gatherings. There’s also an exclusive poker and gambling 🎰 machines. So many drinks 🍺 that you can sit on the bar area and chill. The one major and unsafe flaw was their front door entrance where the cement is cracked, uneven and needs to be redone. If your having a good time inside, you can trip and hurt yourself by falling onto the concrete floor. Please get this done in order to prevent future accidents. ☹️ Other than that they served great food, waitress was super kind, where good people can enjoy their meals whatever the occasion.”

“It's a small, unassuming spot. You place your order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table. The young lady at the counter was very nice, courteous, and patient. She made our cafe con leches perfect. The foam on top was beautiful. It was so good I drank the whole thing (and I'm lactose intolerant). 😆 They don't have dairy substitutes, so I was glad I had some lactaid pills. Lol. We had the pastries with the Guayaba y queso. That has to be the most delicious pastry I've had in a long time. Flaky, light, and buttery with the perfect amount of Guayaba and cheese. Omg don't miss these pastries. We were there early in the morning, so not everything on the menu was available, but what we had was so good. Their Cuban sandwich is amazing, from that bread that my husband swears is genuine "...just like in Cuba." to the roasted pork, ham, and delicious mustard and pickles. He is Cuban, and he loved it! I have to say that bread does elevate that sandwich to the next level. The steak sandwich is good too, but I think the star is the Cuban sandwich. Their croquettas were crispy and well seasoned. We will come back and try everything. I've read reviews calling this place a gem, and it truly is. Great Cuban food and great service.”

“We arrived around lunch on a Monday. It wasn’t too busy and we were seated immediately. We came solely for the pizza. Between our table we had a thin crust and a deep dish. Overall it was delicious! My husband raved about the thin crust pizza. Our server was very professional and attentive to our needs! If you aren't familiar with the cuisine, I'd recommend going with a group of friends who are adventurous eaters. The food is easy to share with others especially if you order small plates and appetizers along with the big dishes. The way our meal was served was in increments - bringing one dish out at a time, and I think that was a clever way of introducing the flavors. I would highly recommend ordering the Amok Trei (fish) it is flavoured in a coconut based sauce and is absolutely mouth watering. If you have a seafood allergy I would double check before going. I believe a lot of the dishes contain fish, fish sauce, or fish or shrimp paste.”

Really good portions Rainbow roll -- California, 5 pieces of fresh fish, which looked to be salmon, tuna, white tuna, shrimp, and yellow tail Spider roll -- Whole soft shell crab, cucumber, avocado, sweet sauce. These always come out thicker, and it was delicious! They also have bento boxes to check out, which was a hard choice to not get. Service was great! Dining area is somewhat tiny... a few booths, a couple of tables, and few seats at the sushi bar, by the chefs. Overall, great food and experience!”

We called it sweet corn butter cake, and we both refused to leave one crumb on our plate. The chicken was so juicy, flavorful, and tender. The beef brisket was my Favorite meat on my plate. The ribs seem to have won many trophies and have now received Our #1 ribs in Illinois award. The eat-in area is huge and So southern kitchen/restaurant style. We loved it! I will say the service and employees were also friendly and welcoming. We have deemed this our new Go to BBQ joint! It's so worth it!”

“Update Nov 14th: My my my, the cinnamon roll is the best I've ever had. The filling is great, although I would add raisins for an option. The cinnamon is pleasant and doesn't overpower the roll. It's soft and flaky along with great icing, nit to mention the size and price. Bismark donut was soft, and the filling was just right along with the chocolate. I just wish they had vanilla as well. You can't go wrong with any of their parties as they are delightful and delicious too. Will let you know about the carrot cake soon. Lordy lordy, it took me too long to stop. Don't do what I did and get your butt in there, people. Wish I had more time to visit as I stopped in going to work. Choices, choices, and way too many. I even ordered one more pastry after checking out, ha ha. So my downfalls today were carrot cake slices, Bismark donuts, king Carmel roll, and my favorite yummy 😋 Big Cinnamon roll. There is so much more to choose from Danish, cookies, donuts, and donut holes from my quick glance only. Didn't have takeout menus, but you can view it online. Staff was warm & welcoming along with being so nice to their customers 😊 I can't say enough good about their Bakery, next chance breakfast. Oh, did I forget to mention they serve breakfast too. “When I hear a confident claim like it's better than Giordanos, that's quite eyebrow-raising. But it's true!! I had the Uncle Tony's. A medium size is 6 slices. Being quite hungry, I could put back three, but no more. They're not shy on the marinara which I like to help balance out the cheese in a deep dish format. It's bright and flavorful.
