“When I emailed them asking for an estimate for my coin collection they responded very quickly. After doing more research I quickly discovered many buyers won’t ever take the time out of their day to do this, as if to foreshadow how pleasant working with them was going to be. When we went in to sell the collection it was a phenomenal experience. The store is secure and filled with super interesting collectibles and coins. Their treatment of the collection was great. They were both incredibly knowledgeable and you could tell they knew just about everything their was to know about this business. Most importantly though, they were both fun, interesting, helpful, and they gave us a fantastic price. This store is a rare find. Cant recommend them enough.”

I was in terrible pain and Dr. Nicastro took fantastic care of me. Based on the emergency care that I received, my husband and children also transferred their dental care to Dr. Nicastro. Since April 2020, Johnson's has faithfully delivered hot dinners to my beautiful mother-in-law twice a week - usually by one of their long-time waitresses, Dena. This is not a service they typically provide but because she is home-bound, they have made this a priority. Dena is amazing. We talk twice a week and she helps me decide what would be the best item that day to order for Mom. With Mom's declining health, Dena has adapted her delivery pattern and occasionally will drop off something she made herself over the weekend and wanted to share. Not because she "has to" but because she wants to. Johnson's Corner owners Jimmy & Cathy are family but Dena is now too! Thank you for being an invaluable part of the Alton/Godfrey community and for taking care of your neighbors.”

The egg foo young is similarly enormous and delicious. It is expertly cooked and moist unlike most places. The Cantonese style chow mein is a favorite with pan fried noodles. On this visit, we tried a dish called Bangkok Surprise, a dish with shrimp, and melt in your mouth beef and chicken cooked in a spicy red curry and coconut milk that may now be my new all time favorite Chinese dish. Definitely give this place a try if you have the chance.”

“We’ve lived in Mundelein for years and never bothered to stop in. We heard they were open under new management and decided to try them out for dinner. We were very impressed with the ambiance, decor, service, drinks and most importantly the food! We ordered the lamb lollipops for appetizers, French onion soup, scallops risotto and the queen prime rib. Everything was exceptionally cooked and delicious. The scallops were some of the best we’ve ever had! The server was very attentive, and we really enjoyed our dinner. We will definitely be back again, and will recommend it to our friends and family! Glad to see this Mundelein staple is in good hands with the new management.”
