“This was the perfect getaway for our family! The cabin was beautiful and fully equipped to hold our family of 7. We wanted nature to be our entertainment and it did not disappoint! We ditched the electronic devices and spent time outside, in the hot tub, hiking, and building fires. We stayed three nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table, pool table, and spent alone time in the hammock. We are incredibly grateful that we booked at Acre Ridge and we will definitely be back!”

“Always such an amazing time whenever we pull down to Buckwood! Have been tent camping here for 2 years and this is our first season with our camper. 37’er and every spot we’ve been to has been INCREDIBLY easy. If you aren’t comfortable or need help Ben literally asks every single trailer if they want help parking it whether directing or parking it for you. So incredibly sincere and sweet. It’s always a sad day Sunday morning as we pack up camp and leave this home away from home. Thank you to every single person working to make every weekend special to those who come. “Another of the beaten path general store turned bed and breakfast/ restaurant. Not a large complicated menu but interesting and delicious fresh choices served to perfection. Usually has live music outside next to the gardens with shaded areas to sit. Walk around here a bit and find the beautiful barn/ wedding venue behind the gardens.”

We did the hot tub, played on pool table, cooked great breakfasts, watched TV. We shopped Nashville and just did the town. We hope to repeat annually!!”

“My wife and I went on the 1-hour buggy ATV ride. Wow, what a blast! We took in the scenic fall leaves. We saw four deer. We also stopped at an 1800's ruin with only the intact chimney structure and water well still visible. Tony was our guide and he was awesome! We had to kick it into 4x4 a few times. Highly enjoyable and highly recommended. We would go again when in the area.”

“We had a wonderful/restful getaway. The food, fish dinner and apple bread pudding, was our favorite meal. All the food and service was fantastic. The air-conditioned room, hallways, and dinning area was greatly appreciated since the temperatures were near 100 degrees during our stay. The Brown County Inn is truly handicapped accessibile. “Opened in 1969 so the hotel has been around a number of years. They seem to be putting money back in the hotel. Fresh paint, upgraded bathroom, etc. Hotel and grounds very clean. The swimming pool goes from 3 feet to 8 feet deep and is covered for use year round. They have several acres of land and grow lots of flowers and many of their own vegetables for use in the kitchen. They have a large restaurant attached that was very good. Can't go wrong eating here. They also have a bar/night club with free entertainment. They also have shuffle board, horse shoes, mini golf, tether ball. Lots of outside seating in pleasant weather. I could go on and on, but we liked the hotel do well we made reservations to go back in October for some enjoyment.”

“We stayed at the inn in the Renoir Room last weekend for a girls weekend. We enjoyed our stay so much and I will definatly stay again if I am ever I the area and in need of lodging. The decor was beautiful and really transported my friends and I to the past. There were tons of board games, so there was something to do so we didnt have to turn in early. Guests also have full access to WiFi, Netflix, Hulu, and other apps through the TV's Amazon firestick. The bads and bathroom were both very clean and comfortable for a night away. I would definatly recommend staying here for a different experience from the traditional hotel, but with none of the sketxhiness and potential sacrifices in comfors staying in and AirBnB may bring.”

“Super cute place! My husband and I stayed for a three night weekend for our anniversary. The room was clean and cute, easy to access, the hottub was amazing, and the privacy was awesome. Perfect place for a little romantic giveaway. Only "negative" was no ice, but we got cups of ice for $.25 at the BP! Will most likely be back if we are in the area!”

“Better than ever. . .My mother took me to the old Abe Martin in the early 50's. It has been redone a few times since then and the food prepared by an assorted number of concessionaires. The current "Little Gem" restaurant offers a buffet bar, but ordering off the menu is much better. Really tasty! great staff. . .”

“Our stay at the Red Bud Inn was excellent. Rates were reasonable on a weekend where rates in the surrounding area were three times the rate of the Red Bud. The rooms are clean and include the all the basic amenities one would need. Stan, the owner is everything everyone said and is a fantastic host. Personable, easy to get along with and goes out of his way to help. I would recommend to others looking for a reasonably priced place to sleep while in the area. Greg”
