The lady at the front desk was amazingly helpful in helping me find the burial place of my family and extended family. The gift shop is amazingly inexpensive. And the people in general are fantastic.”

“Our first experience with the Whitewater Valley Railroad was over the summer and our excursion was ~1.5 hours to Metamora where we got to explore for a few hours before heading back. The views were spectacular (IMO the best out of French Lick and Nickel Plate). The staff are laidback, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are grateful for each passenger and you can tell it’s a labor of love for them. We of course couldn’t wait to come back for the Polar Express ride in December. So much fun for the whole family - we got AMAZING chocolate cookies and hot cocoa, interactions with the chocolate chefs, elves, and the conductor throughout the ride and a special visit with the big man at the end. You can bring your own snacks and little cooler, blankets, etc for a comfortable and family-friendly experience.”

“My wife and I visited and had a great time. I'm really into American history so I was like a kid in a candy store. Driving my wife nuts saying look at that. Look at this. We spent all day there and had a great time talking with everyone and learning and observing. I highly recommend the Jay Co. Historical Museum. Whether alone or with your family you won't regret it. Keep history alive or you are doomed to repeat it.”

“Awesome little museum. If you love sports, and like the "David and Goliath" game type, this is the place. The real story is better than the movie Hoosiers portrays. Also the success story after high school that the players had accomplished is also neat .”

“A great home tour for a Riley poetry lover and history buff. One of the best historical home tours I have experienced. My tour guide, Phyllis, was a very nice lady who was very knowledgeable about our Hoosier poet. A number of times she recited some of his poetry which added to a very positive experience. Enjoyed the town of Greenfield as well. A day well spent.”
