“We are currently without power (stupid snow) all the hotels near our home are full. I came before my husband as I got off work first. There were others ahead of me in line when I arrived. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly Raymond got everyone checked in and on their way. He informed me of breakfast hours and gym hours etc.... He was great! I would definitely recommend this hotel and if we are ever in the same position we will stay here again. Thanks again Raymond for the great customer service!”

“Kevin and Sharon have been nothing but wonderful since I moved in. Any maintenance requests were taken care of quickly. Both maintenance men that came to my home were always kind and respectful of my home. The downfall would be some neighbors and their upkeep of homes but management does a good job keeping things looking nice. We were here for 2 years and never had any major problems. The reason for 4 stars was the home was damaged upon move in and it took quite some time to get the exterior damage repaired. ????”

“New building, so clean and cozy. A king suite includes a couch with a trundle bed and you can take off the cushions and have it be a day bed. Helpful for a family. We are really happy with the room. Typical breakfast options for a self-serve: cereal, waffle makers, yogurt. Only downer is the pool is tiny (picture a hot tub with a 10 foot strip jutting off one side), so don't count on that for much entertainment.”

My only complaint is the strange glass bathroom door that wouldn't lock (we told maintenance but they didn't fix it). That makes it odd with small daughters that open it on their father. We had room 216.”

“Sydney welcomed me with genuine warmth and was the consummate professional, excellent service and customer care by Carlos as well. Thaddeus was a great bartender. The rooms are sleek and modern. Good bed and bedding, workstation desk with data ports, nice bathroom, shower, mini fridge. Fun lobby with pool table, breakfast area, huge deck with fireplace. Indoor pool, nice gym, workout room. Great location, plenty of restaurants, shopping etc within walking distance. I really enjoy this area and the Aloft hotel.”

“Great location not far from some dinning spots, a park and Top Golf! It was actually cheaper than the smaller no-kitchenette-rooms at some of the other hotels. Also loved that the vanity was outside of the bathroom, allowing things go much smoother with multiple guests. Staff were courteous and communicated effectively. Would definitely stay again!”

“We originally decided against this hotel because of the poor reviews. After our other hotel fell through we ended up back here for over $50 cheaper on two rooms. My wife and I were very satisfied. Yes it is in the process of a remodel and it showed. The rooms were excellent, and very clean. The beds appeared to be new and were comfortable. The room had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were great as well. The bar was not open, and the breakfast needed a little work but we would definitely return to this hotel again.”

“My girlfriend and I have had an excellent experience at Highpointe Apartments. The two bedroom unit is newly renovated, spacious, and inviting. The rent is 100% reasonable and gets you way more space than neighborhoods closer to downtown. The maintenance crew and leasing office respond promptly and courteously to any and all requests. The complex is nicely tucked away from the main road and fenced off from the surrounding areas; it feels private and secure. We literally never hear our neighbors. We're a short, short drive away from parks, grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants, the highway - you name it. It's also the perfect location if you happen to commute to Lawrence or anywhere west of KC, which I do. We have nothing but great things to say about Highpointe.”
