“Decided rent room on spur of the mo.ent and very glad we did. The lady up front was so nice and even rented me a smoking room. I didnt think they existed anymore. The room was large and pretty clean. It had a chair desk hide bed tv dresser iron hair dryer mini fridge and microwave. It was nice enough we decided to stay a second day.”

“We really enjoyed our week-long stay here, the staff is actually trying hard to keep everything clean, unlike other places who say they're cleaning regularly but don't. The staff was very helpful, the hot to go breakfasts were great, are there is only one open entrance to the building and is being monitored constantly. The lobby elevators common areas and our room were clean, the rooms are all Suites and are laid out great, comfortable bed as well as a nice office area and nice bathroom, TV was good too. Small negatives, the tile on the floor in our bathroom was loose and the grout was coming out, and one time due to a misunderstanding the cleaning lady came in the room to leave towels when we asked her to leave them outside the door, and there were slight small stains on the couch.”

“So many things just within walking distance of this hotel. Seriously, there are multiple restaurants, a great ice cream stop, an Indoor Entertainment business called The Alley, and grocery stores all in the same Plaza. Lively area during the weekend, but not so much that you can't get around without bumping into people. Rooms however, there was a mixup with us reserving two kings and ending up either two queens, big bummer but we didn't ask for a resolution since service was so friendly. The heater in our room tended to decide what it wanted to do on it's own and for some reason, really preferred to give us cold A/C rather than heating. So, thermostat was also a huge thumbs down for making nights colder than weather was actually outside. We all reported scratchy bed sheets and covers, recommend having your own just in case. Altogether, breakfast bar was seriously worth the morning visit! Not just a couple fruits and a cereal bar. It really had the works and it felt like a lot of options. Enjoyed our stay.”

A couple chairs and table to enjoy, along with a family setup for single and or multiple beds. With in walking distance to a few different eating places, and a convenient store, also a pub if you might like to take on a little 9 ball and socialization. Also a shopping center for all your at ? “Clean and comfy rooms. We stayed in connecting rooms with our girls. The rooms were cold upon entrance, as in 60 degrees cold. Bathrooms clean. However, our king sized bedroom only hand 2 bath towels, 3 hand towels and wash clothes. The connecting room had 3 towels, hand towels, and wash clothes. In room coffee provided. Nice perk during these pandemic times. Checkout is noon but housekeeping staff grouped in our hallway loud enough to wake us even without knocking on the door. Sounded like a party in the hallway. At first, I thought it might be our girls doing the sisterly bonding things. Nope. Housekeeping happily going about their day. Over all, our experience with Holiday Inn Express has been fairly consistent no matter what city we find ourselves in.”

“Good stopover... Only issue would be some low-hanging telephone lines near site #26... Got on top of the roof of our RV and lifted the lines clear of our AC units and got out clean with no problems. Might want to set a warning in that area though for other high RVs staying. TBH, though, it wasn't a big issue, and may just have been due to the winter weather. (looked like the lines might have had some ice coating.)”

“I really appreciate all of the amenities Candlewood provides for their guests at a price that isn't overwhelming. The staff is friendly, rooms are nice and clean and their checkout time isn't until noon. I love that they have kitchens with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, salt and pepper, cooking items, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and a refrigerator with an.ice maker. In case you may need anything they have an area you can purchase items and have them billed to your room. They also offer washers and dryers where guests can do their laundry at no charge. Feel like cooking out? They have that covered too with very nice grills available and ready to use. They have regular sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash ready to use in the shower and dish soap and dishwasher detergent in the kitchen. They also have a lending cabinet where you can borrow anything from a blender to a board game and a business center for those that might need it. Basically they go above and beyond to help their guests out and to make sure we're happy. I'd say they do a wonderful job.”
