Very cool experience! Admission is very reasonable and the docents are great! Lack of AC made it a bit uncomfortable but still awesome.
Great little museum! Two hangers with several modern and historic planes, including a Cessna and helicopter visitors can sit in, with functional parts to turn and pull that really make flaps and gears move.
Several exciting and informational videos throughout.
We were very impressed with the museum and all it had. Everyone should see a great aircraft museum.
We had a great time
I'm an airplane mechanic, this sort of museum brings out the aviation nerd in me. My parents, who don't entirely share my passion of aviation really enjoyed it too. There's a lot of history packed in and a really wonderful variety as well. We spent about 2 hours or so looking around and all three of us had a really lovely time. I love how close I could get to the planes, looking inside them, seeing cutaways of engines, my dad said it's like the museum was put together for someone like me. It's a great way to spend an afternoon and has something for everyone.
We visited recently and really enjoyed ourselves. It's affordable and the people are warm and friendly. There are plenty of volunteer presumably retired pilots walking around speaking with people and we got a cool aviator hat and some posters. There's also a display about Women Aviators. You can get close enough to peek in the cockpits which my boys 10 and 13 enjoyed.
