“Very cozy and "at home" type of feeling here.been here for about four months now and for the most part it's pretty nice and decent.the regular "motel rooms" are a bit small but very cute and instantly make you feel at home and relaxed.the apartment side is a little bigger and has full size kitchens. You won't find anything better and more comfortable than the Albany motel and apartments! The price is just right! The owners are great awesome people and such a joy to be around! And FYI they DO have an ice machine here I noticed a couple people said they don't. You have wifi , cable , a very comfortable room and bed and bathroom and a decent size fridge I'm very happy and content here!”

“This was a perfect location for our out of town guests. The entire villa is completely renovated and more beautiful than most custom homes. The owners wasted no expense on this place. Right on the golf course, and walking distance to pool, gym, restaurant, bar and clubhouse. It is close to the river so it was easy to go enjoy boating and close to town. The owner was great to work with as well. It was extremely clean and my guests felt like luxury in a home away from home. Extremely convenient to town and just a short distance away from New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Would strongly recommend using this specific location for any wedding, golf tournaments, or out of town guests looking to stay in Springfield or visit Carter plantation area.”

“Great place to stay if you are looking to just relax. It's geared more toward workers needing a long term stay. Area is very safe and there is a gate. Bait shop is fully stocked with whatever would be needed for area fishing. Staff and owner are terrific. If you are looking for a new fangled type campground this is not for you. There is no pool or playground . There are residents that live there that are friendly and helpful. It has the feel of South Louisiana in a quaint lil village. not far from many excursions....close to Baton Rouge and about an hr from New Orleans. with many things to see and do in the surrounding areas.”

“First impression walking through the door The staff was friendly and very helpful. The lobby was clean and nice with lemon water for the guests. The hotel itself is Located in a good spot next to plenty of restaurants. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were spacious clean cool and had comfy beds ! Happy with my stay for a reasonable price. The breakfast was also delicious and a good variety of things to eat from biscuits eggs sausage bacon and gravy to the easy stuff like bagels waffles cereal and muffins. Pool is also open which is a plus cause most hotels pools are still closed. Also had a 24 hr gym area which was nice. Will definitely be coming back for any future trips! If I could give more than 5 stars I’d give 10 !”

“Great place for a weekend getaway. The RV spots have an elevated deck that keeps you out of the mud. Picnic table, fire pit etc…. The sites are secluded enough to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and get lost in the sounds of the swamp. The nature center is a must see. Inside you will find information and displays of the local flora and fauna. There are several aquatic animals in tanks for viewing. We spent about an hour looking around and if we weren’t starving we would have stayed longer. There is playground and a splash pad area that makes the park great for kids. The camping and cabin areas are paved which makes biking and scootering around easy. The only downside to this park is most all the trails and all of the boardwalk trails are closed due to massive storm damage. I commend the work that has been done to restore this park after the multiple storms we have had however, there is substantial damage to what I consider the “main attraction” of the park, the natural surroundings. That being said you will still see an abundance of cypress, pine and oak trees. Don’t forget to visit the grandmother tree! (400-800 years old) Definitely worth a visit.”

“Great park! Good community. Neighbors watch out for each other from my experience. Owner has worked hard to keep the place up. He is very responsive to service request or issues that may arise. Air filters are changed once a month. Green areas are well maintained, no loose trash laying around, gravel parking spots and driveway are graded regularly. You'd be hard pressed to find a pothole! Great place for kids too. People do not speed through here and are respectful with music volume during the evening. If you work alot or travel a ton for whatever reason you could not find a better place to call home base. Some tenants have been here for 5 years plus people generally stay here for awhile. Moving out trucks are a rare sight. I personally value the calm peaceful atmosphere of the park, being centrally located to a variety of groccey shopping, pharmacies, doctors, gyms, dentist, eye doctors, mechanic shops, while being close by they are out of sight, while also the ability to access I-12 and get to any major retail outlets at juban in less than 15 mins or the Mall of Lousiana in 30 mins is nice. The perks are numerous to say the least. If you get an opportunity to rent here. Take it! You won't be disappointed! Credit checks are done for renters and background checks are done on all tenants.”
