“Awesome park. A long stretch of walkway following the river and filled with beautiful greenery and trees. So glad I stopped by here and I had a lot of fun spending an hour here. Mandeville is a really cool town; it was worth some time there while visiting from New Orleans!”

“Absolutely beautiful, dog friendly, great little hike. I've seen all kinds of diffrent birds, large alligators. Make sure you pack out anything your animal leaves behind and bring your own bags.”

“One of my favorite places. We have trick or treated twice on campgrounds. Nice splash pad. Beach is really nice for small kids, shallow and sandy beach. Good amount of bathrooms and showers. The trails are nice to walk and connects to the Tammany trace for biking. The whole place including some cabins are dog friendly which is awesome as my Rottweiler loves to splash and play with his human.”

“Love this playground! The thing that I love the most is that the playground equipment is covered. Lots of shade from pavilions, trees & sails. The old fire truck is really neat. I did not get pictures of all of the playground equipment because my phone died but will add more pics next time we go.”

“Beautiful park with some of the best soccer fields in the state!”

“Love this place. Only unfortunate thing about the trails is how the north and south loops are a bit too close to the neighboring park and aren't always a woodsy hike but through the field adjacent to the park. Nice to be greeted by the resident alligator in beaver pond! I hope that people aren't feeding him so he becomes too comfortable around people and winds up attacking someone. His presence is very peaceful right now.”
