“We stayed there for a short getaway and found the facility and our hosts very inviting. There is a lot to see and do in the area and they made sure that we knew where to go. Cressy House is just 200 feet from Lake Ponchartrain where you will see beautiful sunsets across this 24 mile wide lake, and sunrises as well if you are an early riser which we are not. The waterfront offers a scenic place to stroll, enjoy the view and people watch. David and Laura Cressy are very welcoming and we felt like old friends before we left. The room came with a very comfortable bed, private bath, delicious home made muffins and a fabulous jar of marmalade from her sister-in-law's kitchen. You will enjoy yourself at Cressy House. We will definitely go back.”

“De la Bleau exceeded our expectations - we came to the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain to relax for a few days after French Quarter Festival and were delighted by Cindy & Clyde's hospitality. The B&B had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, the porches were inviting and the Lakefront views and walkways were just outside the front door. Convenient self check-in, weekday continental breakfast and a ginger cat to share our seat on the porch. The one is a winner!”

“One of my favorite places. We have trick or treated twice on campgrounds. Nice splash pad. Beach is really nice for small kids, shallow and sandy beach. Good amount of bathrooms and showers. The trails are nice to walk and connects to the Tammany trace for biking. The whole place including some cabins are dog friendly which is awesome as my Rottweiler loves to splash and play with his human.”

“Front desk attendant was very helpful! Nice and polite. Only issue the room was half cleaned and someone may have had a pet present from the hairs on the couch in the room and bathroom floor... The desk chair and ottoman bench were a bit dirty as well...”

“Hotel is very clean and most staff were friendly. When I checked in late Wednesday night, the front desk staff was very accommodating. She graciously explained everything in detail from breakfast to parking with a smile on her face. Being a travel nurse I stay at Marriott hotels quite often throughout the year and this was by far one of the cleanest. When I asked to extend my stay, there was different staff at the desk who referred me to the website for help and nothing further. She was very short with me, but even this didn’t ruin my stay. Housekeeping does an amazing job!”

“I used this company, after interviewing nearly a dozen over the past year. I was pleased with the pricing. Not the cheapest estimate, however, thousands of dollars less than Long Roofing for example, which has always come in very high in their pricing for every project that we have contacted them about, i.e. fencing, they were twice the amount of the nearly cheapest company. After a cash deposit of one-half, the scheduling followed. All appointments were made on time. Unfortunately, the crew that installed the roof, was not the best or far from the best. The representative flew up from Florida and found that the roofing was subpar! He ordered a new roof be installed. Within a week, there was a tear-off and another new roof installed. I WAS ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY! It is a rare thing to see. We have been here in this home for 19 years and have had the occasional screw-up from contractors. However, there was "no fight to get it right"! Thanks, Mr. Smedley you are a class act! as is Buildpro!”
