“Very nice museum with many interesting things to look at and the staff were friendly. My 5 year old loved it, especially seeing the submarine!”

“My son loves this museum! The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of the size. It’s small but nice, kept my 3 year old busy for 2 hours. Plus there is the Kids Konnection playground right outside that is really nice!”

“It was a beautiful day to spend in Abita Springs. First the wacky museum then the playground at the trail head then a walk along the awesome trace over the river. Very light crowd on Monday and easy parking.”

“This is an offbeat wacky fun place to visit! Take your time and explore every building and appreciate the creativity. It's a little on the dark side with all of the animal creations. We spent a good deal of time at the "shard" house! Don't skip the restroom it's absolutely a creative space. May not be a place for very young kiddos.”

“In visiting the Icon museum in Covington Louisiana I was confronted with an artist , Matthew Montero, whose paintings revel in the sheer joy of paying homage to the people and items that helped change the world. His ability to manipulate the canvas to create portraits of such interest lets the observer really understand why this art display is so important for all to see. The museum although small has so much to interest anyone and is beautifully maintained.”

“We drove over from Mobile, Al. For the weekend. Blessed with great weather. The festival itself was great. Large boats! Small boats. And everything in between! Things to do for young and old. Definitely try it if you haven't!”
