“Advertised as the most haunted estate in Louisiana. We were not disappointed. Tickets for the guided tour are a must. We enjoyed hearing stories and walking through the spaces seeing how they were decorated. The guide also told us several stories about prior residents and connected some of these people to ghosts who still haunt the estate. In the general store, you can see photos on display showing more evidence of other worldly shades and shadows. Ample parking and gardens to walk through with lots of shade. Good way to spend time while you wait for your tour. While we visited, other guests were arriving to checking in to the bed and breakfast.”

“My husband Bo works in New Roads Once a year and always stays at Point Breeze. This place has more of a cabin feel to it in which has been a wonderful fit for him and I. The owners are very pleasant and if there are any problems fixes them as fast as he is able to. They put their guest first and always speaks and smiles. The rooms are very clean. This place is peaceful and you can fish right off of your balcony in which is a wrap around deck. Boat launch right there as well. Ladies this place is ok to stay in and you can cook in the small kitchen the rooms have to offer”

Neighbors turn into friends, everyone is extremely helpful and super friendly. Brandon the landlord is absolutely exceptional and always there to answer any questions or accommodate any requests. “De la Bleau exceeded our expectations - we came to the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain to relax for a few days after French Quarter Festival and were delighted by Cindy & Clyde's hospitality. The B&B had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, the porches were inviting and the Lakefront views and walkways were just outside the front door. Convenient self check-in, weekday continental breakfast and a ginger cat to share our seat on the porch. The one is a winner!”

“First impression walking through the door The staff was friendly and very helpful. The lobby was clean and nice with lemon water for the guests. The hotel itself is Located in a good spot next to plenty of restaurants. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were spacious clean cool and had comfy beds ! Happy with my stay for a reasonable price. The breakfast was also delicious and a good variety of things to eat from biscuits eggs sausage bacon and gravy to the easy stuff like bagels waffles cereal and muffins. Pool is also open which is a plus cause most hotels pools are still closed. Also had a 24 hr gym area which was nice. Will definitely be coming back for any future trips! If I could give more than 5 stars I’d give 10 !”

With modern, updated rooms, the weekly rate is more than affordable and quite reasonable in comparisson to the local competition. They have a full range of workout equipment as well as a pool table. The nostalgia of the historic building is quite a treat as well. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we cannot wait to return!”

“One of my favorite places. We have trick or treated twice on campgrounds. Nice splash pad. Beach is really nice for small kids, shallow and sandy beach. Good amount of bathrooms and showers. The trails are nice to walk and connects to the Tammany trace for biking. The whole place including some cabins are dog friendly which is awesome as my Rottweiler loves to splash and play with his human.”
