“Excellent company. Had an issue with my filter, aquatic solutions were prompt and professional. I'm a new pool owner and they took the time to teach me about pool and filtration system. Highly recommended”

“Pros: clean, neat, air system, can rent firearms, buy ammo, use your own factory ammo (I'm pretty sure), reasonable transfer fee, nice selection of firearms, unassuming staff, routine specials Cons: kind of far out if you live the city, limited to 25 yards (as far out as it is, I would have thought it could go to 50 yards) Side note: Very particular about their 1hr limit. I'm not sure that I've been to a place that timed me down to the minute when there was literally no one else in the range but me. That's the only thing I can say. I'm sure management is happy about that though. It makes sense from a biz perspective if you can have every penny per hour accounted for. It is pretty far from me, and all of the ranges I could go to are about the same driving time to get to. So I just go to one that isn't as interested in me spending an hour or less there and picked one that seems more interested in me coming back over and over again. I still give it four stars though, as my only real gripe is that the range is not long enough for what I like to do.”

“I was a bit hesitant to get our car painted at Maaco because the quote for the paint job was a couple thousand dollars less than estimates from other body shops. I was concerned they would do a shoddy job. Upon expressing these concerns, I learned that body shops generally prefer the collision repair jobs, since more money is made on those insurance-related cases. If is repair shop is going to spend their time on paint jobs, they want to make it worth it financially. Therefore, they charge more. However, with Maaco, auto painting is one of their specialties and the Frederick shop paints all kinds of cars from all over the region, even from as far away as Baltimore. So, their prices are more reasonable. When our son picked out a new paint color, one of the employees took the time to prepare the spray paint so he could show a bigger sample. We are so thankful he did, because we did not like the color so much when we saw it on a big piece in good light. (A few years ago, we had an old car painted at a Maaco in Virginia. We chose a green from a little color palate and when we picked up the car, we were taken aback when we saw how light and bright the green was. At that point, there was nothing we could do.) Thankfully, our son picked a darker red. We were delighted to find out that our car would be finished in around three days (as opposed to at least a week with other places where we got estimates). When we went back to pick it up a few days later, we learned there was a miscommunication with the color. However, Maaco kept the car an extra day made it right with several more coats of paint and sealant. The paint job is gorgeous and we are so thrilled with it! We highly recommend the Frederick Maaco!”
