“Neat little hiking trail. This trail takes you directly to Black Hill lake and the perimeter trail. Decently maintained too. Parking is scarce as well. You do have a small lot to park maybe 4-5 vehicles but not much else.”

“This park is a perfect place to have a picnic! There are many different shelters located inside the park. You have the lake, playground, and trails that you can walk here! It's perfect for times like Memorial Day because next to the shelters are the grills, where you can barbeque anything you want to. It's a very convenient place to visit. I would recommend going here.”

“Easy trail. Well marked and maintained. We saw several does and a fawn off to the side of the trail. For hikers, look out for bikers. They can quickly overtake you from ahead or behind with little warning.”

Hoyles Mill Trail

“Part of Black Hill Regional Park, but the easiest access by car will be off 121 by the bridge over Little Seneca Lake. The trail can also be accessed on foot from the main park entrance by going past the police station. Great natural surface trail with a clear path and some nice views of the lake through the trees. Keep an ear out for bikers, who must yield to pedestrians and equestrians.”
