It's also a good spot for coffee; I had a really nice cappuccino last time I was there. “We had a wonderful Dinner at Real Restaurant this evening, which was also the evening of its official opening here in Lincoln. The food was excellent, staff was helpful and prompt. We were served relatively quickly. The Menu had a variety of selections that are sure to have something for almost any taste (or dietary restriction). I really wanted to try out their milkshakes - something you don't usually see in a restaurant of this caliber, but alas - my waistline would not allow it! What I most feel needs to be said is that the atmosphere of the restaurant is delightful. The decor has Scandinavian influences: clean lines, simple furnishings - elegant but not overpowering. And, the space is carefully designed to minimize noise. I have a hard time hearing anything when there is more than a little background noise, but I had no problems at all at Real, even with every table full of talkative guests. A wonderful experience and an enjoyable meal. We'll be sure to be back again soon!”
