“Having never had acupuncture before, I was amazed at how relaxing it was. Dr. King was so calm and reassuring. I like the fact that she has experience in both western and eastern medicine and recently completed her doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. I would highly recommend her.”

“Small, but a great spot to kill some time looking at the butterflies! My 11 month old was a good age because she was happy to be carried around and not wanting to touch too much, but a child that is walking and between 1-3 might be tough to keep interested. I saw elementary aged kids there though too that LOVED seeing how many butterflies they could find from a chart they give you!”

“This preserve has a dog friendly part of the lake, with a beach. It is small, but very nice to have for dog owners looking to find a spot to bring their pets and family to during the summer and throughout the year. We have been here twice, and it is always a fun experience. The dog friendly beach is the one that is on the left trail right after the parking lot where the trail begins, after the entrance. There are no signs to it, really, so it took us some time when we first visited to find it. Do keep in mind the beach for the lake, etc., is not closed off, so you will have to keep an eye on yiur dog to make sure he/she doesnt run off...it would be difficult to find them in the wooded area. We do love it here, and we will most certainly come back again.”
