“Looking for a Doula? Look no further. Carolynn is a boss!!! She knows more about labor, delivery, and the birthing process than anyone that I have ever talked to. As first time parents we were nervous about what to expect in the delivery room. More importantly I have an extreme needle-phobia and was adamant about having a needle-free birth. An epidural was just not an option for me. Having Carolynn was a complete game changer. She has this calming energy that put my anxious mind at ease. At 41 weeks the midwife was pressing me to get induced. Being adamant that I did not want to, Carolynn was able to help us articulate our wishes. She was so knowledgeable about all of our options and always available to discuss the pros and cons.... even at 3am. She is like having a birth guide in your back pocket. When I finally went into spontaneous labor at 41+6. Carolynn was able to guide us through early labor, keeping my husband in a rhythm and helping him best support me. When it was time for her to arrive she was there in the blink of an eye. She never left my side and continued to have suggestions on how to best get our daughter through the birth canal. Once my baby girl was born I needed some medical attention. While my husband did skin-to-skin with our daughter, Carolynn never left my side. She was that familiar face I needed to keep my mind at ease. We will definitely be calling her for baby number 2. Thank you Carolynn, you truly were the best decision we could have made 💕”

Prices are reasonable, but you get discounts for using cash which I'm not sure how I feel about. Cash price for dip was $35, + $5 if you have dip you need to soak off. My tech was great. Place was not very glamorous but I don't care much about ambiance as long as nails come out good. It was very busy even on a weekday afternoon, they seem to have a lot of regulars so call ahead!”

“I purchased a small pepperoni pizza and a soda for lunch. The pizza was fresh, flavorful and hot. I drove to a local park and had my delicious lunch from Jillies while I enjoyed the beautiful Spring weather. The restaurant offered me plates, napkins, forks and other condiments to take along with me. This was my 1st visit. I will definitely go back to them and try their other menu options.”

“First let me say my mom looked so beautiful, like naturally beautiful. Her eye brows which she almost had none were done in a way that looked like real hair. The make artist is phenomenal! Everyone would say your mom never looked so beautiful. From the moment I walked into Sweeney’s to discuss all the arrangements everything was done with grace and understanding. No hard sale, on the contrary they were most helpful with arranging exactly what was needed for us and my mom. They gave us all waters and explained everything and anything we didn’t understand. They took care of it all. On the morning of her wake which was also the day of her funeral. Her pictures were displayed beautifully along with her flowers. They took care of every detail. The funeral home was clean and beautiful and inviting to all guests. I appreciate everything they did for us and my mom. They gave my mom the upmost respect, that she well deserved. Three months later people have called to tell me when it’s their time to go they want it to be just like my moms wake and funeral which they arranged with St Theresa’s church in Billerica. All of it including the church couldn’t have been a more perfect ending to a woman who gave it all. I love you mom and miss you forever. Thank you Sweeney and St Theresa’s church for making my moms funeral the most perfect one! And for a fraction of the cost too!”

We had blown a head gasket on our car, tried "do it yourself" repair and realized youtube videos can only get you so far. Stopped in and Jose kindly took the time to discuss what the options were. Went for a remanufactured engine, had it shipped it from Kansas, and Jose's team installed it. Minor issues along the way, expected with an older vehicle & the YARZ team was always in touch. Happily driving my car and totally recommend YARZ!!! My brother also has a project car, so we will be back.”

Music & Art are her favorites, and of course, lunch bunch with friends from other classrooms! Most helpful to our family, has been the willingness to flex a schedule between part-time & full-time. We wanted to expose our daughter to a “full day,” but not necessarily everyday. We are grateful and fortunate that they have been so accommodating to our needs. “I was looking for a co-operative preschool near East Arlington, and was very impressed by Gentle Dragon. The classroom has everything from art stations that are always open to gross motor play, books, math manipulatives, and a sensory table. They are very flexible about which days your child comes, but there is no afternoon program. The curriculum is run by a veteran teacher, Eleanor Sugarman, and the parents are the helpers, board members, and make a welcoming community. If you are looking for a way for your child to receive all the benefits of a preschool education, and want to be involved with your child's school, I would highly recommend checking them out.”
