“We hosted a bridal shower here and I cannot say enough good things about this place! The upstairs room was beautiful. The bartender and the waitress that we had were amazing! So friendly and accommodating. The manager was great; friendly, attentive and super nice! The food was good, we could play the music that we wanted over the speakers, just an all around great time. Also, afterwards we went outside to the outdoor bar and it was phenomenal. Will definitely come back here if we have to host another event.”

“Best calamari I have ever had! Very tender and nice and spicy! My main course was the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were big and tender. I was happy to see the shrimp came cleaned! The sauce was nice and garlicky and not too heavy on the wine sauce. My wife enjoyed her meatball ricotta pizza, she subbed out the red sauce for garlic oil. The only two negative things I have to say is the bread is not fresh like most restaurants, it is sliced regular store bought. Also the mozzarella sticks were good flavor wise but they were obviously frozen because the cheese did not pull apart. It was more like a breaded string cheese stick. Mary was a great waitress! Overall, I enjoyed my experience.”

I learned to test coffees by trying them black, and Rhapsody's coffee can be enjoyed straight, but of course they have all the faves like lattes and macchiato and other surprises, just check the board. The dining area has a great ambience, downstairs and upstairs, and the service has always been top notch and attentive. “The wife and I came in today around 2pm, we were the first to sit down in the dining room near the full liquor bar that they have. It Seemed extremely quiet. However, much to our surprise the food came out super quick and it was so delicious. We got a D19 and a order of House Fried Rice (The White Yang Chow Fried Rice). I can tell everything was made fresh to order. The only thing that came out of a steamer was the Pork fried rice for the D19 combo plate which most Chinese restaurants do anyway for their combos. They will usually make fresh pork fried rice to order when you order it all on its own. The Waiter who served on us was an older Asian man who was super friendly. I can only assume he was the owner. He really seemed to care about our experience here. There was an old Chinese restaurant in East Providence called young China that was in Chen family for many generations and I was deeply saddened when it closed. This experience brought me back to my youth when I would get Chinese with my father every Friday. Bamboo express, you are hidden gem. Thank you for the experience.”

There’s a beautiful booth area where you can take off your shoes and sit traditional style on pillows at the table. So relaxing and great. A few people came to just work on their laptops inside; seems like a perfect spot to work remotely during lunch time to catch a break from the office. “La Taqueria 320 Washington St, Dedham, MA 02026 I went to this location because my daughter said that she and some friends tried it before and it was good. So I tried it. My daughter ordered 3 tacos, the Carne Asada, Caritas and the Grilled chicken, my wife ordered the Chicken and cheese quesadilla and I ordered the fish taco (fried battered fish) you have a choice between grilled or fried, the flavor of all was impeccable, however the portions for the price was a bit hard for me to digest. My daughter's 3 small Tacos were fifteen dollars and some change, my taco was $4.99 + 25 cents for a wedge of lime I don't remember the price of the quesadilla I think it was 7 or 8 dollars and came with fries. They are a bit nickel and dime and charge 50 cents for each topping like pico de gallo or sour cream. Don't get me wrong the food tasted great the service was a bit aloof and it took a bit to get my order ( I saw my fish taco sitting there waiting to be dressed for about 5 minutes.) The average taco was about 3 bites so a bit on the small size. Normally you will find this size taco sold in an order with at least 2 or 3 for under $10.00. Even with what I perceive as high prices the flavor of the food will more than likely make me go back. I just will not choose it very often because I don't feel like I got a lot of bang for my buck. In my experience a lot of taqueria's offer beans and rice as a side so I usually order a couple of amuse-bouche sized Tacos and get a side of rice and beans to fill out the meal. So next time I will probably try that. Overall I believe if you like authentic taco's you will like this place. I rate it 4 out of 5 stars.”

“We hosted a Saturday night event for 75 people at The View (June 2022) to celebrate our son and it was just about as perfect as it could get. We wanted a space where people could eat and hang out outside because of Covid, and The View fit the bill. But we didn't know what it would look or feel like (or even how the food would taste since we hadn't eaten there before), but everything turned out amazing. The party was from 7-11pm. We had the L-shaped outdoor space from 7pm with two tables inside with curtains creating a partition from the rest of the restaurant. We had a band for background music from 7-9. At around 8:45/9, all other customers were gone and we moved all of the rest of the tables aside. We pre-loaded a playlist for the MyTunes "jukebox" and used the space as a dancefloor (and were able to keep all of the sliding glass doors open for additional Covid safety measures). Billy was so easy to work with around arranging the menu (Italian vegetarian) and was so accommodating with two 13-year-olds who are gluten free. We worked to figure out the right configuration for the outside part and the tablecloths (and chair covers that they had, which we paid extra for, and we're so glad we did!) elevated the space and it looked beautiful. We brought outdoor games, such as giant Connect 4, badminton, etc. for the kids (ages ranging from 6 through 17), which we were able to set up around the corner but in sight from the patio. Being able to have those was huge for the younger guests! The food was excellent! Billy and Bill put together a custom menu for us, since they didn't have anything fully vegetarian on the catering menu. This included stuffed shells and an artichoke salad. We also had stands of cheese and crackers, caprese skewers, and Mediterranean food, as well as some passed appetizers. Based on Billy's recommendation, we also got several pizzas, which were given right to the kids, and made them so happy. On top of everything, each staff member working that night was kind, helpful, accommodating, and just lovely. We had an incredible experience with The View for our event and I would highly recommend this venue--it truly exceeded our expectations and we will definitely host events here in the future.”
