“Omg 😳 this is the real deal! I see why they have the name. I went their today for the first time on 10/6/2022 and the customer service was so amazing. It smelled so good riding home couldn't wait to taste it. They recommended me to get the cheesecake so that's the first thing I tried, I couldn't stop eating it I ended up eating it before my meal🤦then I tried the catfish and it was fresh and very crispy and that very important to me not many people can cook dressing and I took one bite and almost swallowed my tongue🤣. This food is no joke, I think of my grandma when I eat it. They need more locations all over. I can't wait to tell my brother. I don't know why I waited so to try. My new favorite spot! “Update: Went again today and EVERYTHING I had was perfect. I ordered "The Tony" again. It was great. The onions were actually cooked well this time and not just thrown in the scramble raw. And there were avocados on it this time. 👍🏾 The Cinnamon Apple Raisin Toast and homemade jelly is STILL my absolute favorite (Delicious). I ordered the grits. They were very good. “My favorite thing about this place is the parking. You can pull right up, leave the car running and grab your pizza and you are out the door. I think the last time took me about 20 seconds! The best crust is the Parmesan with butter. I did not care so much for the Cajun because of the extra flavor kind of clashing with the sauce. That is just my personal preference though. We love to do bacon and pineapple together, and what I love about this place is the toppings are not an extreme amount of extra money. Definitely check for deals because they do run quite a few awesome specials! Will definitely be back :-)”

You have to go up to the counter and order your dinner and they bring it to the table - but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. “Decided to visit this place for open jam night. It was not very packed, but it was Sunday evening. What a great atmosphere,I can not lie. I had a blast listening to live music. It was a rotation of blues and classic rock. Staff was busy but on point and attentive. Didn't get to try any food, but I'd assume I would be classic bar style. All in all, it was a great time. “October 2022 - came here when our art and jakes didn't work out. We didn't know about this place but now we do. There was 9 of us and they had no issues for us. For being very busy we didn't wait long. They had water for us at our table and then brought us a thing of water. They brought us some roles and butter. I ordered the romeo sliders with no cheese. Just enough food for me for a good price. Burgers and onions were good. My middle daughter (7) gave the spaghetti with meat sauce a 100 thumbs up. Everything else was very good. “Dined in by myself. Only two servers working & two larger groups of 5-8 people both being served by my server. So I was understanding. I was hoping for more variety. Only had an onion soup and the waitress didn’t help with explaining it. Ended up with a regular burger with cheese and no appetizers. Fries tasted a little under cooked and could use seasoning. I added pepper. Ranch was excellent. Burger cooked the way I requested and tasted good. It was cold inside. They really need to turn the heat higher. I wore my coat till my food arrived.”

“My new favorite Mediterranean restaurant! The guys working at the restaurant and the store had great customer service. Jay in the restaurant was so friendly and helpful. You can tell he loves his job and wants happy customers. They have the Northern Michigan seasonings and pasties that have been hard to find around here. The market has a nice selection of turkey chops, crab, lobster and even rabbit. The restaurant has funky selections of drinks. The tawook chicken was our favorite. The chicken cream chops and lamb chops are pretty good. The steak was HUGE and very tender. The chicken and lamb shawarmas were so tender. I highly recommend this restaurant and market!”

“I stopped in Nicky D’s today for just a quick bite to eat and something healthy. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and ask if they had some cucumber slices. They were done absolutely perfectly and tasted delicious. I thought the price was extremely fair. You can sit inside and eat but because of the shortages and so they don’t have to hire a dishwasher, you will eat out of to go containers. Which I thought would be strange at first but it didn’t bother me one bit. And instead of them not letting you come in at all I would rather eat out of to go containers. They do have quite the following coming through the drive-through. I would recommend checking them out and I will be back.”
