“Have lived in the area for ages but this was my first visit inside Cranbrook House. We did a self guided tour but there were docents in every room to answer questions and give a little history on the family and the decor. The details in the wood carvings,the high end materials used in construction, and the influence of the artisans that were commissioned to create the decor pieces left us in awe. The gardens are amazing. The Japanese garden was magical. Take the time to discover all the grounds but wear comfortable shoes as you will definitely get your steps in as you wander the trails. Absolutely will be going back soon!”

“If one has any interest in historical homes (or in this case a manor house) this is a fine home to tour. The tour only includes what would have been public areas of the first floor (no kitchens, bedrooms, etc). The architecture is not extraordinary but it is interesting and the interiors are extraordinary. The Booths were supporters of fine craft workers and artisans and the interior appointments demonstrate as much. Some of the detail work, such as above the fireplace in the library, is truly exceptional and makes a visit from a keen-eyed observer well worth the time. The gardens appear beautifully laid out, but we visited in the snow and did not walk through the garden areas. I would commend them to visitors based solely on the visual appeal of their design.”

“I picked up my chicks earlier this week and they are ABSOLUTELY beautiful!! Thank you so much for sharing with me the best setup for them!! It was easy and more cost-effective than a lot of other set ups. I have attached a few photos of my chicks chowing down 🐥 and the setup that Todd sent me to make sure I would be successful raising my Silkies. Todd is so friendly and knowledgeable about Silkies. Over the last 20 years I have bought chicks from other breeders and none of them have the knowledge that Todd has and was happy to share what he knew. I could tell he cared about the chicks and wanted all of them to go to a good home 😄. Todd, thank you for CORRECTLY breeding Silkies and sharing your knowledge.
