Diamond Forest Apartments

I have lived at DFA for about 4 years now. I can't say how much I love this complex! The grounds are maintained on a regular basis and hallways and entries are kept clean. Not to mention, the leasing manager, Madison, is a joy! She is very polite and pleasant and always responds, whether by phone or email, in a timely manner. I'm happy I made the choice to move here!

I met Kelsey from their office while I was looking for a apartment. Ask for her if you want the Best. She deserves a raise, Bonus & 3 week paid Vacation!!!

Madison and her team were so great over the last two years we lived here. They are always on top of things and letting the residents know what is going on, and they always have super fun events for the residents as well.
This experience was by far the best apartment living experience we've had in all my years of living around Michigan.

I recently have left this complex as a maintenance tech and I have to say this complex was by far my favorite job, the residents were great the property manager was amazing and professional with a no quit attitude , the leasing agents were always so kind and ready to help at the drop of a dime. And the new supervisor was pact full of knowledge, hands on and ready to work everyday. the contractors brought in to do renovations were super professional and helpful. This is the dream spot a great place to live, an amazing community. We have had techs come and go but we made it through it. I wanna say thank you to all the current residents who would say “oh thank god you are the hood guy, the other guy with a beard is nasty and not good at his job”, that always made me laugh, what a relief he couldn’t hack it and left. All around an amazing community that I had the pleasure of maintaining the new tech and new supervisor are amazing and they will continue to keep Diamond Forrest running smooth and safe.

Lived here for 12 months in 2021.

Moved in with some issues since it was a "renovated unit". Almost everything was new, although the cabinets were not the style I was expecting from the tour I was given. The coaxial outlets were painted over so I had maintenance bring over new ones that I installed myself, I was impressed at how fast they responded.

Valet trash was convenient but I couldn't handle the lack of recycling so I ended up bringing most boxes to a recycling place on my own.

My fridge had an issue that was also responded too very quickly. I never had an issue with bed bugs or mold. Neighborhood was quiet, although I never used the pool or gym amenities. Parking was convenient, my sheltered parking spot was only taken twice by a new tenant who didn't understand the rules.

Moving out was also pretty painless. My rent term was a year and a day for some reason, so I had to pay a prorated day of rent and utilities, and I almost had to pay for an extra month of renters insurance, otherwise, it was a standard 60 day notice and the walk-through showed no issues; my refund was given in full.

All in all, the price was a little high for a sleepy neighborhood, but the experience was positive in its entirety!
