“Really nice campground. Great for kids. They have 4 parks, a bike track, a nice beach, skatepark and small arcade. The beach is raked every morning. The only downside is they only rent boats, kayaks and bikes on the weekends. So if your staying Monday- Thursday like we did you have no access even though there's at least 40 employees working.”

“Groveland Fire Department is a great fire department to work for. They have a high ISO rating providing the best emergency services to the township and its surrounding areas. They have 5 Advanced Life Support Ambulances, 3 fire engines, 2 tankers, one ladder fire truck and 2 brush trucks. They carry the latest in new technology for medical and fire operations. Both stations are manned 24 hours a day. They also offer medical transport from hospital to hospital or facility to facility. All the men and women are well trained with weekly training along with completed state certifications. They are very friendly and enjoy helping the community. Groveland Fire Department also provides mutual aid assistance to its surrounding communities for all emergency and non emergency calls.”

“Went for a late dinner and was a close restaurant to the Groveland campground. They give you free filtered tap water and bread. The bread was delicious. It was like a warm and toasted Italian bread with a parmesan flavoring served with honey butter. We all got something that we would like all the food was hot and presented well. The only thing that was different for us is that condiments, like ketchup, where not at the table so if you don't ask for it then you won't get it. I liked the set up of the tables and chairs and the environment was relaxing. It was a bit dark but we sat in the sun room which made it a bit brighter than the rest of the restaurant. Oh they have a keto and vegan menu! I didn't try any of these but you can see my photos for the menu options they serve. Overall it was a pleasant experience.”
