Top Parks in Blaine, Anoka county, Minnesota, United states

Quail Creek Park

Address: 2168 Quail Creek Pkwy NE, Blaine, MN 55449, USA

Park

“A fun neighborhood park. The climbing dome was Definitely our favorite. Just the right amount of terrifying and fun. We also had fun on the tall spinner that you hang from. Plenty of slides and swings. It has a swing where a parent or sibling can swing with a baby and one where you could swing with a toddler or smaller child which we had never seen before. Spinning seats also.”

Quincy Park Rink

Address: 10601 Quincy Blvd NE, Blaine, MN 55434, USA

Park

“Most of the rinks in the area have side walls, making them ideal for hockey. This is a flat part of the park which happens to freeze well enough that it can be cleared to make an ice rink. It's not fancy, but it's effective. There's also a warning house. It's not the smoothest ice, so probably not ideal for beginners”

Tree's Edge Park

Address: 1731 113th Ln NE, Blaine, MN 55449, USA

Park

“Cute little park. My boys enjoyed the playground and the paths/gazebo.”

Little League Park

Address: 730 113th Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55434, USA

Park

“There's no basketball hoop but there are two baseball fields and a playground for kids with a section for toddlers, and a couple of fields. The creek nearby is pretty but smells like sewage. This park is great and mostly has nice people, but I have had a couple of weird run-ins. There was a homeless woman staying in the porta potty. I was scared to death to check on her because I was always afraid she wouldn't be breathing anymore but one day I came back and she was gone and her clothes and personal items including a purse and tampons were scattered throughout the porta potty and spilling out into the grass just outside of the porta potty. My family also went to this park and had a weird run in with a couple that seemed to be intoxicated. I've also noticed that people smoke weed in the back parking lot but they have been chill about it and haven't bothered anyone. When I walk by they smile and wave. I've had my dogs off leash here and haven't had hardly any issues. I did have Blaine PD stop and explain that the dog should be on a leash but they respected that I was out exercising my dog and that they were just doing their job. Blaine PD hangs out at this park off and on and I have always had pleasant interactions with them. For the most part this park has been great, but I do get nervous sometimes walking the trails since they are closed in by trees. I try not to have a routine so that no bad guys can pick up on my habits and follow me back there.”

Lochness Park

Address: 11121 Lexington Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55449, USA

“This park is a combination of a disc golf course and a few walking trails. There's a trail around the lake, and two trails on the north side of varying lengths under a mile. The top loop opens up to a hillside and it's a good place to watch the sunset.”

Swanson Dog Park

Address: 9150 Central Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55434, USA

Park

“Always a good time here. People call it Aquatore but that’s the park across the street.. Some people don’t pick up after their dogs (maybe their dogs run off and the owners didn’t know they did their business idk) so I tend to step in dog poo every now and then. I don’t realize it until Im out in the open space since I go when it’s already dark out :S my dog always enjoys this park though.”

Ice was in good shape, and we made memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for having this available to the public.”

Lexington Athletic Complex

Address: 4286 121st Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55449, USA

Park

“This was an awesome playground. My kids loved that they could play "the floor is lava" without ever having to touch the ground, going in a full loop, with how the equipment is laid out. Also, great zipline for older kids. My 7 year old loved it, my 5 year old feel off due to the kickback at the end. She was fine but it is pretty intense for a playground but perfect for older kids.”

“Visited Pioneer Park with my lab for the first time in January. Two simple words: Winter serenity. There is a nice balance of feeling like you're on a beaten path and like you're simply just exploring through the wilderness. Pioneer park also has opportunity for those wishing to travel the less beaten trail, without worrying too much about getting lost. Surrounded by houses on one side but it doesn't feel overly commericalized or touched by man. Overall, great place to spend an hour or three.”

There is a water tower on a hill and that hill is a gentle sledding hill for children in the winter. Those with a sense of exploration will find a bike trail along the back of the park.”
