A very stressful military move brought us to Colorado Springs Aug ‘22. I called every storage facility in the area about our uncommon circumstances and was met with lack of understanding and unwillingness to accommodate….UNTIL I spoke to Ian at Blue Sky Self Storage. He was extremely kind and understanding. We moved our entire household goods into a storage unit the very next day and felt an extreme weight lifted off our shoulders. The facility is clean, accessible and reasonably priced, but the customer service has been a god send. As long as we live in Colorado Springs, we will use this storage facility and recommend it to anyone looking. Ian, thanks again!

Nice people on site. Pricing a bit high. Shopping and comparing payes off. Figuring out which is the best storage units to place belongings in can be a bit difficult. Still looking so we don’t end up with a space that’s too big or too small. Plus $ fee makes a difference.

I just want to say that IAN the attendant did not hesitate to help me load my item up and he went above and beyond the normal expectations. Ian is an awesome person and the blue sky self storage should be honored to have him as an employee. I believe he needs a pay raise and a new position...such as manager or what not. Thank you IAN you were superb and I'm so grateful for your help .... You are my hero for the day. Much respect.

Man what can I say. The storage facility manager was extremely helpful. Ian Meek made our transition a lot easier to handle during these hard times and I’m very grateful for his hospitality. Being a service member a lot of last minute planning is involved in our transition to moving.

He understood our situation, which was a rough one and he did everything in his power to make things go a lot smoother for us. His service was outstanding, he went above and beyond for us and didn’t make us feel like just another customer, but like close friends.

I highly recommend this place, especially if you have never used a storage facility before. He’ll make sure to fill you in on everything. Typically when you rent a storage unit you quite often never get that human interaction but Ian was different and very accommodating, my wife and I had to empty out a 4 bedroom 1800sq foot home in four days we were at the storage facility from open to closing in 90° weather, when Ian made his rounds to maintain and secure the storage facility he offered us cold water, and checked in on us. I hope we don’t have to do this again but in the event we do I would definitely chose his facility ANY DAY!!
