“We have been coming here for years, even when the previous owners had the campsite. Let me tell you the new owners are absolutely amazing! Brad , Danielle and Tyler and all the staff go above and beyond to make your experience a great one! They have done so much to make it a better family fun campsite! Our kids always have the best time! Tons of activities for the kids and adults! Corn bag tournaments and bingo are always a good time! Lots of fun theme weekends! Ice cream shop, arcade and a great clean well maintained pool! The bathrooms and shower houses are clean and well kept! That was a big one for us! Just a quick 4 min or less drive to cannon falls and you have everything you could really need in a small town. Grocery’s, coffee, multiple restaurants an amazing bakery. This is our favorite place to camp in the summer and it’s only a short drive to the metro so extended stays on weekdays work out perfect!”

“No lines at the lifts. Good value for lift tickets. A can of craft beer cost $8 though. Service at the chalet was very slow, both bartenders where preoccupied, one counting tips or money and the other working on a schedule or picks. Over all clean facility and lift operators are friendly.”

“This place was amazing, and the owner is such a great host, she truly thinks of everything. A friend and I stayed at a hosted retreat, it was inviting, relaxing, quiet, spacious and a perfect get away! We even spent an extra night (Sunday) for a very reasonable amount. I will definitely be going back, and have continued to shop online, as I’m a few hrs away. Definitely a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️from me!”

“Excellent place for people to learn about taking care of animals, especially horses. Great for kids. You'll need to contact the owner (Erika) to schedule appointments. When we visited there were about 10 horses including some boarders and rescue horses. The farm also has goats, chickens, cats and dogs.”

“I had a total knee replacement and am going to Lake City Active PT for my physical therapy. Decker is my physical therapist and he also has an intern working with him. Decker has been great and gotten me to almost the desired range of movement I need to be at. From using my knee bending machine, my other leg started acting up, so my PA said to have PT work on that also. Decker is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. The intern working with him is great as well. I have confidence in these two gentlemen. I feel like they really care about helping me and I appreciate that. I would highly recommend Active PT.”

“This is a beautiful venue!! I was here for a friend's wedding and really enjoyed the experience. It is just far enough where you feel like you are getting away but the drive is still very manageable. It was about 45-60 minutes from the Twin Cities making it an easy escape. The building was recently renovated and the grounds were well maintained. There are rolling hills and beautiful trees. The wedding I attended had the ceremony set back in the woods which made for a very natural and intimate setting. It is a great venue for a wedding, reunion, or corporate event.”

A tiny restaurant-ware creamer with logo (not the Ritz or anything) was $27.99. Seriously?! The glassware was plentiful and sweetly organized by color. Delightful eye candy. I didn’t buy anything this visit. Maybe next time.”
