“Okay, here's the scoop with this place. They are a smaller establishment that offers several salvage rebuild vehicles for low prices. Do they only let extremely serious buyers test drive vehicles? Yes. You can prove that you're a serious buyer by showing proof you are approved for financing or bringing a cashier's check ready to buy the vehicle. I saw a very nice Honda Odyssey on their site for a great price and spoke to Jerry who was very upfront and honest that it was a salvage rebuild. He also was up front about their policy around test drives. I did not have to give them a check in order to test drive just bring one to show that I was highly interested and capable of purchasing. Jerry was kind enough to see me 9 pm at night because I had to drive from out of state which never would have worked with a typical dealership. The Honda Odyssey was in immaculate condition and Jerry said it had been previously involved in a side swipe collision hence the salvage rebuild title. They had repaired it to almost new condition and the car has been running perfectly for over a month now. The only thing we encountered after the purchase was that the windshield fluid tubes needed to be cleaned out to work properly. Bottom line: We paid $17000 for a beautiful Honda Odyssey that would have been $25,000 at another dealership. We also had no issues with titling or car insurance. If you are looking for a great car deal then don't be afraid to go to Direct Auto Sales! Just make sure you realize they're not a typical dealership and only accept serious buyers by appointment. Also, if you decide not to purchase a vehicle, cashier checks can always be redeposited into your bank account with no issue.”

“*Our daughter attended Mrs. Barb’s preschool for nearly 2 years* Discovering Barb was a true stroke of luck (thank you, random google search), as we had decided that the larger daycare center my daughter had previously attended for a brief period was not a good fit. It was clear, from our very first meeting with Barb and her husband Dave, that we had found a fantastic and dedicated teacher for our 3 year old. She consistently goes above and beyond, to stimulate each child’s creative side and natural gifts. It was so much fun hearing my daughter describe her school days, and seeing her form close friendships. Her confidence and social skills took off quickly. But most importantly, Mrs. Barb gave her the gift of wanting to learn- something only the best teachers can accomplish. On a practical note, her home is in a great neighborhood, always quiet and low on traffic, and close to trails and nature. Her husband Dave is also great with kids and helps with preparing healthy meals (which, I might add, routinely passed my picky kiddo’s taste test). Additionally, they have a great fenced-in backyard with a swing set, backing up to a wetland area with lots of fun wildlife. Also important to consider: The tuition is very affordable compared to the average daycare center in the area (with MUCH greater value for your money). Good luck finding childcare of this quality locally for anywhere near her rates! All in all, it’s hard to overstate how much we appreciate Barb’s huge role in my daughter’s development these past few years. The first 5 years of life is so important in unlocking a child’s potential; if you want a hidden gem right here in Maple Grove, I strongly recommend checking her out!”

“I went to CB Auto on Costco Auto program's recommendation. CB Auto is a franchise, and what a pleasant surprise I had with their service. This is probably one of the best Auto service center for it's customer service. No pressure, very clean customer service area (the bathroom was better than in many hotel rooms), and above all a very friendly staff from owner down to the technicians. I was particularly impressed with John, the manger, who shared with me a story about his coin collection (a Numismatist) hobby. I had my brakes inspected by one of their competitors, and expected CB Auto to also recommend several hundred dollars worth of replacements. That turned out not to be the case. They did recommend flushing the brake fluid, though - for a reasonable price. If there is one comment (certainly not negative) I would make, it is that the technician who flushed the brake fluid, also ended up resetting my Oil Life indicator to 100% from the 60% it was at when I took the car in. This, I attribute to an opportunity for CB Auto to train their technicians not to do, unless there is an oil change involved. Again, certainly not an intentional mistake. Thank you, CB Auto and all its staff for an unusually good experience. Rest assured, I will come back in the future, and tell my friends about your great service.”
