“Our fishing club made a scheduled lunch stop at Lord Fletcher's midway through our annual crappie tournament. We were served promptly and were ready to complete the tournament on time. I ordered the brisket burger and was very satisfied. Full of flavor but messy to eat and not something to make a regular due to the calories. Fries were some of the best I've had recently-very crisp and just the right amount of salt.”

“A local culinary institution with great food, car shows every Thursday, and a fun drive-in atmosphere which hearkens back to classic American culture. My family has been going to the Drive In for decades. Every item on their menu is worth ordering. There is something special about their root beer, too. Eating here in the summer is a quintessential Minnesotan experience. Earlier this year, the Drive In celebrated its 60th anniversary. Generations of local teenagers have worked at the Drive In for their first jobs and families have enjoyed their food and events for decades. If you only get to visit the Drive In once, stop by on a Thursday evening when the restaurant hosts its weekly classic car show. The parking stalls are lined with beautiful cars and at the right table you can watch them rev their engines as they come and go. Don’t let the longer lines dissuade you from this family-friendly event, you will not be disappointed. The Drive In closes during the winter, which only serves to make the locals more excited for its reopening each spring. Summer is king and the Minnetonka Drive In is all the proof you need.”
