“Derrick Sheffield was wonderful in every way. My mom passed away unexpectedly on February 9th, and on February 11th we met with Derrick, and he walked my brothers and I through everything, for we've never had to plan a funeral service before and were clueless to what we were doing. Derrick walked us through every step, every stage, every piece of paper, he knew everything on the top of his head, he awnsered our silly questions, he never once rushed us, or made us feel like a burden or a bother to him, he took his time with us through every stage, he talked with us, he even made us laugh in a time where we all really needed a laugh. My mom and I were very close and I would always ask my mom where she was, it brought me comfort to know where she was and that she was safe, and I expressed this to Derrick. He made sure to tell me when my moms autopsy was completed, when she was signed off to be releaaed by the corner, when she was picked up from the corner, when she arrived at the cremation location, when her cremation was completed and was ready to be picked up and when she arrived at the funeral home. He asked if I wanted my moms hair tye. He was very attentive to how my family and I were feeling and our concerns and he made sure to help in anyway he could, like emailing me where she was at all times. That is something I will forever be grateful for, because the anxiety I felt during that week was unmeasurable and Derrick helped ease some of that anxiety. The day of my moms service all the other staff was wonderful, they made the flowers that were sent in look beautiful, they placed my moms urn beautifully in a flower arrangement, they were very delicate with her urn, they moved her into a locked office after the service to make sure she was safe and out of reach of others. The music was great and on time with her service. They allowed me to bring in our own clergyman. The food was delicious. The cook staff was kind and expressed their condolences to us. All around, Washburn-McReavy in Hopkins did an amazing job. In every way. It was beautiful, it was peaceful, it went smoothly, it fit all 100+ of us for her service, there was no confusion on payment, date or time. I highly recommend this location and especially Derrick. He deserves a raise! Thank you Washburn-McReavy for everything .”

While I was working on my own stuff during open gym, he was working with a few adaptive athletes. As another CF-L3 Coach, I appreciated the way Josh was working and interacting with those athletes. He knows his stuff!! The gym is extremely clean and the members I met were incredibly nice. Would highly recommend joining this gym and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!”

“This is my third time around for a DOT physical from CHC. Dr. Wagner, the owner of this clinic, is very knowledgeable and has excellent communication skills. I use this clinic because 1) I schedule my visit on the phone in less than a couple minutes without getting placed on hold. 2) I never wait more than a couple minutes to get started once I arrive. 3) At no additional cost, the clinic certified my DOT physical with the State of Minnesota and then notified me when it was accepted by the State of Minnesota. 4) I usually have a few health related questions which are always answered with precise detail. I highly recommend Dr. Wagner to anyone who has a CDL.”

“We recently had a terrible experience with a floor installation and was dreading having our roof done. The logistics and professionalism of this company blew my mind. Dumpster was delivered yesterday exactly where we asked. Roofers showed up this morning before 7am to prepare and by 7 they were in full stride ripping off the old shingles. Not long after the new shingles arrived and by the time I went out to lunch and came home to roof was done and everything was cleaned and back where it came from. The roof looks great and I’m going to recommend evergreen to everyone.”

“First off, I feel so at home here. I have lived here for nearly 2 years and plan on renewing my lease for a 3rd time. Old management was so terrible, I was looking for a new place before my lease was even half way up. THEN! New owners and management came swooping in and I renewed with them in a heartbeat. Positives: My neighbors are nothing but respectful. This community is full of families and individuals straight out of college life that are over the party scene. It is peaceful, safe, and in walking distance to what I need. Management is kind, honest, and willing to listen/work with you and your needs. I have a 2-bedroom and personally love everything about it! With everything becoming so expensive, I find the safety and convenience of this place to be worth every penny. Per other reviews, there are little things that are bothersome: 1. Once in a while, the garage door gets stuck open from excessive use, which leaves access to our building to the public. 2. The amenities are usually out of service to either fix, replace, or update. I have only used the pool a handful of times. 3. The elevators buzz at you when you step in. 4. Packages get stolen from the convenient full-access to all boxes to every resident. 5. Washers and dryers are a hit or miss BUT! Coming from a similar line of work, I see that management is working their tails off to fix what the old owners never did. There are plans in place to replace the smelly hallway carpets, the buzzing elevators, the broken washer/dryers, the package thievery, outdated appliances, and more! Everything that I had issues with are being fixed in a timely manner and communicated effectively! I know maintenance is short staffed, but so is the entire world right now. Plus, they are working with old buildings that are being slowly updated. Nothing changes overnight, so give them a little grace. Give this place a chance and you won't be disappointed.”

The past six years have brought dramatic changes to her lifestyle, but with the supervised care she has received at Grace Homes, her condition greatly improved.
