Century Avenue Service

Honest and reliable of the two words to come to the top of my head but I think about Century Avenue service. Jon and Tracy run the shop and I can honestly say that I am always confident that the work will be done in the timeframe they say at the price they say, and the price is ALWAYS lower than competition. I do my homework!

While on my way back from vacation in Duluth I blew a tire on the interstate near Stacy, MN. As it was closer to 5pm I knew my chances of finding a place open was going to hard to find. I found a shop open (Tires Plus) in Forest Lake that had my tire but couldn't put it on as they were too busy and had to wait the next day, even if I took it off and on the car. This obviously work as I had a 2 1/2 hr drive yet to get home and work the next morning. So I started to Google search to find any place still open and came across Century Avenue Services. Jon answered the phone with about 20 minutes before they closed. I told him what was all going on and he said to buy the tire there as he didn't have that size on hand and he would wait until I got there and install it for me. So I got the tire drove there on the spare which I'm not a fan of, and got it changed well after they were closed, which he obviously didn't need to do. He looked at the old tire to see what caused it to blow and said that the bearing was going out and to get it replaced once I got home. Not once was there any pressure that I had to make that repair right away. He checked over a few other things to make sure the rest of the trip was going to go okay and we were on our way home.

I would highly recommend Jon and Century Avenue Services for any automotive needs as I felt like family there.

Best service shop I have ever used.

My vehicle was having issues for over a year, and every dealership or "big name" service shop I brought it to kept giving me the run around. Every place told me something different was wrong with the truck and wanted a lot of $ to repair or diagnose the issues - Jon (owner) took great care of my vehicle. He was upfront and honest about what needed to be done, and took care of my issues in a very timely manner. I will be recommending Century Ave to everyone I know who needs service on their vehicle.

Jon and Tracy, the owners of Century Auto, have been our go-to guys for years. Seldom do you find the owners of a auto shop working on cars exclusively, but here you do, and they are great. They have done a fantastic job with all of our cars and trucks. I wholeheartedly recommend these guys for any auto repairs- small or large, most make and models...they have saved us a ton of money while ensuring our vehicles are safe and running correctly. I've attached an older photo of their location, but they have since expanded.

I brought my Traverse 2011 in to have a look at a noise I was hearing in the front left of my vehicle. I was expecting a huge repair. It ended up being low on oil. They gave it an oil change and everything runs smoothly! I can also come back for them to top off my oil . Jon and Tracy are trustworthy mechanics. So glad I found them!! They are also reasonably priced and will tell you what is best for vehicle repairs.
