“The food was amazing. The staff was working toward amazing. The atmosphere was probably better in a different section of the restaurant. We were seated right where the wall AC blew directly on us. We had to ask them to change the air direction and they shut it off. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the quick action, but changing the vent direction seems to make more sense on a hot day than turning it off. There are no prices on the desert menu and we had a bit of sticker shock. All-in-all, we will probably go back”

“So, I have been hearing a lot about a place up in Smithville called Humphreys Bar and Grill. And since I happened to be up in that neck of the woods I decided to stop in and give them a try. Making my way to the bar I order up a nice glass of Martin city IPA and start to study the menu. Now for whatever the reason lately I've been on a club sandwich kick, and I happened to notice that they happened to have a club sandwich on their menu. So, I order it at along with a side of onion rings and waited patiently for my food to come out. In just a few moments they brought me out a basketful of delicious! The sandwich itself was huge but even more important it had great flavor and freshness. Onion rings were the real deal no frozen rings at this place. Freshly battered and fried and delicious. Well done Humphreys Bar and Grill! Well done indeed!”

“When polled where to go to make a video in Smithville this was the #1 recommended place. Unfortunately we are not coffee drinkers so we didn't try that part but we did have the hot chocolate (perfect temp to not burn mouths) and an assortment of bakery goods. The family favorite was the Strawberry Cream Cheese Muffin. I need to go back and try the pop-tarts as after we published the video people have wrote saying those are even better!”

“We camped at Branch Oak and had a great time. They had firewood and Ice for us when the camping place did not. We came back for the amazing food and small town relaxing feel which we love. “The spaghetti was great! It was slow because of the storm so we had part of the place to ourselves which was nice. The bathroom was super clean, my 3 year old even noticed and commented on it! “First time at this establishment, and it was pretty good. Restaurant was very clean, nice and modern looking, restroom was clean. Staff was great, and our wait staff Alyssa was a sweetheart and very informative. We ordered from the lunch menu, which was tasty. Started off with Spinach Artichoke dip, Entree, I had the Turkey Panino, and my husband had the lunch special which was a Prime Rib sandwich. Food presentation and taste was satisfying. We plan to return to try the Dinner menu.”
