“A nice park. Bathrooms. Place to play tennis and baseball. A small walking trail. Playground is fun, kinda for kids 5 yrs plus. There is a smaller spot for littles. Not a lot of shade during midday. No splash pad. Someone left a review with that but must be confused .”

“We came here to let the kids stretch their legs and were excited to see a 9 course disk golf course! It was a lot of fun. There are trees and a creek to play around. I would suggest marking the posts a little better. But still a great course!”

“There are many places to sit and enjoy the surrounding area once into the trails.b I'm not sure of the overall distance but they seem to be designed mostly in a circular pattern. It would be hard to get lost. There is a stream running through the area, some higher trails and some along the stream. Most trails are wide enough for a mountain bike. I think they're allowed anyway. Overall, a fun way to get out, hike but yet not be too far away from the lake areas.”

“We enjoyed this park in a 60 degree morning. There isn't any shade, so I wouldn't prefer this park on a really hot day. Also, I think it would behoove them to put in another swing or two. But it is a really nice park!”

“Nice trail. Wide easy path. A little muddy in spots today”

“A bit swampy for several holes, could just be from the rain a couple of days prior. However, you do cross several small creeks, no disc eaters though. Not heavily wooded, but plenty of guardian trees (fair warning, lots of thorns...a LOT). Slight elevation change. Several fairways are close together, due to back-and-forth layout of the course (reminiscent of swope); if it's busy, you will likely experience some cross play. Some placards seemed to be clearly inaccurate in regards to distance. All in all, I enjoyed the course; although, I struggled through the cold and the wind. I look forward to getting redemption at some point. Being a 30 minute drive, I will probably not be rushing back to achieve it....unless it starts getting to my head.”

“Been a member of KCRC for a long time. Excellent flying field, does require AMA membership and an annual park pass, but well worth it. I also recommend joining KCRC , you won't regret it if you are new to the RC World. Good Luck and Good Flying!”

“I go there walking. They have handicap. They have handicap fishing at the lake too they have Docs for fishing for handicapped people. A lot of people go out there walking. And they go out there at lunch time and sit. Kids go there to play here lately they've been using the smaller writers instead of tractors to cut the grass and it cuts it a lot shorter kids can play there some people let their dogs out to run when no one's looking.”

“I love coming out to the park with my dogs. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that I really wish there was a large sign telling parents with small children not to come in and take their walks in the dog park. I have a puppy that needs to run and I don't feel that she can run when there are small children walking the sidewalks, for fear that she will topple them. There is a children's park right next door and they need to stay on that side. Otherwise, this is our favorite place to go”

“I stay here for a week every month for my job and this is a nice campground. The sites are well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only reason that I only give it four stars is that a few of the RV sites can be a little bit of a challenge to get your RV level. Bathrooms are clean and are only 1 year old! From April thru October this is my go to campground in the KC area.”

“I love camping here, the bathrooms are always cleaned, they have a shower, never run out of toilet paper thank goodness, and they groundskeeper is very nice. I would like it if they would have Wi-Fi, and possibly lower their prices on the fire wood. Other than that, and it's a great place to camp.”

“Awesome park. Area for little kids (crawlers to 2) and a play area for a bit bigger kids (5-7). Splash pad area for kids of all ages, several shaded shelters, several picnic tables. In addition to softball fields and lots of green space, and a bike trail / walking trail all the way around the park. Can be busy at times...”
