“Where do I begin? First, Glenna and Rob are the most amazing people and the ultimate hosts for a B&B. We decided to have an extended weekend while attending our niece's wedding in Weston and we are so very glad we chose The Steamboat Inn! Glenna gave us a tour of the beautiful Inn upon our arrival and told us wonderful stories about the Inn's history. We then enjoyed a fabulous happy hour with the other guests on their lovely deck and the time flew by. The Inn is a few blocks and easy walk to Main Street and all the shops and restaurants - which are so fun! Sunday morning we were treated to Glenna's fantastic breakfast - the orange scones were melt in your mouth delicious! And, she was so sweet to make a fabulous vegetarian apple and potato hash just for me (I am a vegetarian)! Our room was so lovely and the bed was like a cloud. We will definitely be making their Inn a regular destination. Thank you so much Glenna and Rob for making our weekend all the more special! Hugs - Cathie and Steve”

“Great host, good overall experience. Would stay again. We stayed in the cottage, which is detached from the main house. It has pretty dated decor (wood paneling era) and amenities in the cottage, but as a place to crash after a night in Weston I didn't mind. Knocked one star for missing details I'm accustomed to like shampoo and coffee creamer, and it's distance from downtown when on foot. Walking is definitely doable, (we did it), but when it's hot and sticky out it's not as fun.”

“Beautiful 120 year old home right at the top of Main Street so within walking distance to everything. It has a hot tub (the pool is currently not operational). The bedrooms are nice sized with queen bed in each as well as ensuite bathrooms in each. Downstairs are numerous sitting rooms, a dining room, full kitchen and butlers pantry area with 2 full refrigerators, keurig coffee maker, all kitchen necessities, and a beautiful solarium room with a fireplace. This place is huge with a full wrap around porch and ample parking off street. It has changed hands in the last year or so and is no longer a traditional B n B but is a wonderful place to stay. While it needs some updating, new paint, landscaping/weeding, etc (that's all currently in progress) it was perfect for a group of 8 ladies as we rented the entire house for a weekend. It was clean, comfortable, secure and very accessible and a great time was had by all. They even delivered fresh apple and cherry danishes and an assortment of fresh cookies to us in the morning! Had read so many reviews complaining about the state of the home and lack of breakfast etc. that we almost cancelled but so glad we didn't pay attention to those negative reviews. People need to understand its 120 years old, is undergoing a facelift and is just a beautiful piece of history. Plus our contact was very forthcoming that there was no breakfast and no pool at this point. Would stay here again next week or next year...and cant wait to see it once the facelift is done!!!”

“Drew and Janelle were fabulous hosts; friendly and welcoming. I have Celiac Disease and they prepared and amazing gluten free breakfast. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10-year anniversary and it was the perfect quiet getaway. Weston is such a cute, friendly town!”

“As far as value and location, this hotel was great! It's centrally located for all the fun stuff in Weston and parking is easily available all around. The room, bed, and sheets were all clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable for the value you receive. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the sparse furnishings in the room which included just a bed, one night stand, and a desk. It would be nice to have 2 curtain panels to completely cover the window. But that aside, the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely return here next time we're in town. Plus you get 2 complimentary locally brewed beers! Thanks guys!”

“My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was perfect! The room itself is ridiculously cool and charming (if you're into rustic and historical, this is the place for you!). The owners were very communicative, warm, and hospitable. If you stay, be sure to sign up for the breakfast option - the breakfast is outstanding! The Lodge is also still walking distance from Weston's most interesting spots. All in all, I highly recommend The Coal House Lodge!”
