Weldon Spring Conservation Area

Address: 6990 S Missouri 94, St Charles, MO 63304, USA

Park

“Beautiful fields of sunflowers, this is towards the end of their harvest but still a sight to see!!! Great day trip for the family for sure and photo op!”

Glen Travis Park

Address: 10 Mayfield Rd, St Peters, MO 63376, USA

Park

“Technically, this park consists solely of the forested area and paved trail, which is part of the Dardenne Greenway, that begins near the Rabbit Run Park parking lot. It does not include the lake/pond north of it--that is private property (there are signs posted noting this). As best as I can tell, this park ends when you exit the forested pin oak swamp area; the native prairie alongside the trail there is part of the city's Jack Gettemeyer Park. The Greenway, however, can connect to the Woodlands Sports Park, as well as Dardenne Park and the city's golf course, both north of Mexico Rd. The aforementioned Rabbit Run is comprised of the baseball fields, basketball court, pavilion, and playground.”

Tot Lot Park

Address: 259 Bellemeade Dr, St Peters, MO 63376, USA

“Fantastic for the toddler set as well as things to do for the sightly older siblings. Love that it's fenced (only 1 entrance to watch kiddos don't run out). We meet other great families there and I've never felt unsafe there. Restrooms, benches, and picnic tables are also available.”

Fountain Lakes Park (North End)

Address: 628-608 Fountain Lakes Blvd, St Charles, MO 63301, USA

Fort Zumwalt Park

Address: 1000 Jessup Dr W, O'Fallon, MO 63366, USA

“This is the perfect place to have a family gathering. We have had many family reunions here. The pavilion is nice and the playground is right there by it. We recently attended the celebration of lights walk through for the first time and absolutely loved it.”

Weldon Spring City Hall

Community Park

Address: 4611 Central School Rd, St Peters, MO 63304, USA

Park

“The grounds were clean, minus the fact that some dog owners don't bother picking up after their pets. We had a small family gathering for our sons 7th birthday, so the small 4 table pavilion worked out perfectly. We used the onsight grill to warm up the food, there were bathrooms open and available for us, we brought outdoor games and rented an inflatable obstacle course approved by the park and we had a blast!”

Sports Park

Address: 3589 State Hwy K, O'Fallon, MO 63368, USA

Park

“Fun place to fly a drone! I fly mine there sometimes and I've seen several others do the same. Lots of open fields and a nice walking path that goes around the entire perimeter. The reason it's not 5 stars is that there's very little shade – pretty much the entire walking path is in direct sunlight.”

Schneider/Kiwanis Park

Address: 3596 Elm Point Rd, St Charles, MO 63301, USA

Park

“Bought this bracelet for my girlfriend and I. It was amazing to see her face when the magnetic balls clicked together. This park is pretty cool too, but I did not give it to her here. I did it in a much more romantic setting. This park is good for hitting balls and playing on the playground. The toilets are primitive but definitely better than pooping in an outhouse. I will definitely visit this place again.”

Oma's Barn Home & Garden

Address: 1057 MO-79, St Peters, MO 63376, USA

Home goods store Clothing store Park Store

“Very friendly and helpful. I got a variety of flowers and plants for my planters at home. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!”

Memorial Hall

Address: 1900 W Randolph St, St Charles, MO 63301, USA

Park

“Today, I visited Memorial Hall to see the plans for a new St. Charles Park. It seemed nice to me. The large room had a wooden floor. Two of the walls had plenty of windows. On the way to the room I saw a smaller room that looked like it was used for presentations or movies. I think, I read that the large room can hold 250 people for wedding receptions / rentals. There were not 250 people in there today. Today, there were a few tables set up and a lot of easels with posters showing plans of the future park. We went around the room visiting the different displays. The room did well for the event I attended and allowed for social distancing.”

The Beach at New Town St. Charles

Address: 3904 W Canal St, St Charles, MO 63301, USA

Park

“We lived in New Town for several years and loved every day of it. We met so many people from all over the country. I miss it. Beatniks was so much fun.”

Blanchette Landing

Address: 100 Olive St, St Charles, MO 63301, USA

Park

Bluebird Meadow Park

Address: 1668 Henning Rd, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368, USA

Park

“🗺 Dardenne Greenway - BaratHaven #️⃣ Greenway 9 of 28 🚴 4.5 mile loop ☀️ 0% Shaded 📈 9/10 📝 Gorgeous greenway! One of my new favorites. I used to live nearby and my wife and I would run around the lake, but I didn’t know that the greenway extended beyond the lake until today. It’s funny, because the lake isn’t even my favorite part – there’s a prairie across the street at Bluebird Meadow Park that is stunning. There’s not a lot of signage, but if you’re at the parking lot by the lake and go right, you’ll soon come upon a fork – left to go around the lake and right to go to the prairie. I liked the prairie so much that I did two laps! The greenway itself doesn’t really have any shade, but there’s another short trail beyond the soccer field that is shaded. There’s also a short nature trail that goes through the woods and by the creek, but it’s washed out and dangerous. I’d recommend sticking to the lake and the prairie. Bonus: with the big sky of the prairie and the reflections on the lake, sunsets here are beautiful!”

Spencer Creek Park

Address: 200 Sutters Mill Rd, St Peters, MO 63376, USA

Park

“This is a nice park with clean facilities. There's basketball and tennis courts, as well as a covered pavilion with restrooms by the main parking lot. If you are there for the playground you will have a small walk that crosses a cool bridge. I take my kids and dog here quite a bit and we always have fun.”

Bark Park

Address: Cottleville Trail, Cottleville, MO 63304, USA

Park

“Great place to bring your dog. Only downside is the medium and large dog entry gates have been locked the past few days which makes it difficult to have lots of other dogs.”

Fountain Lakes Park

Address: 3850 Huster Rd, St Charles, MO 63301, USA

Park

“I go for the skatepark. But the lake itself is nice as well. Good fishing spot, its ducked off behind trees so its peaceful and quiet. Theres a trail you can walk your dog if you wish.”

Shady Springs Park

Address: 3888 Shady Springs Ln, St Peters, MO 63376, USA

“This is a nice park for baseball and soccer. Good amount of space and lighting in the evening after sunset. Newer playground and good size pavilion.”

Woodlands Sports Park

Address: 1 Woodlands Pkwy, St Peters, MO 63376, USA

“This is a very nice park centered mostly on sporting events. There are many baseball fields and soccer fields. There are a couple of nice ponds and playgrounds as well. Nice walking trails with wooded scenery. Good chance of spotting deer and turkey as well. Highly recommended!”

370 Lakeside Park

Address: 1000 Lakeside Park Dr, St Peters, MO 63376, USA

Park Campground Lodging

“We really love 370 Lakeside Park and not only because it is ten minutes from the granddaughters. The park is very well kept and the staff is kind and accommodating. There is lake that is perfect for kayaking (no motor boats) and fishing (do not need a license if you are a guest at the park). A 3+ mile walking/biking trail that circles the lake with enough small rises to get the heart rate up a bit. At the end of the lake there is a beautiful (and protected) wetland area perfect for bird watching. The park has a dog park plus there is a lot of paved and grassy space to walk a furry kid. If you have human kids there is a small playground and a sand volleyball court that seems to have more sandcastles than volleyball games. The RV park proper is large. There are three loops of RV spaces two of which have concrete pads. All are very level and most have full hookups. The end spaces in each loop have a direct view of the lake. And, there is a lot of space between RVs with grass BUT there are NO trees. If you are looking for shade, you are out of luck. All in all this is a great park with rates on par with other parks with comparable services. We are traveling with a 39 foot fifth wheel.”

Greens Bottom Trail Head

Address: Greens Bottom Rd, St Charles, MO 63303, USA

Park

“Great trail head to rest from the katy trail.”

Covenant Park

“I grew up playing at this park. It definitely changed over the years”

Wapelhorst Park

Address: 1875 Muegge Rd, St Charles, MO 63303, USA

Park

“What a great park! We were there for a family function..first time there. It has everything you could want in a park. There's a great playground, pond with fishing and a trail around it and a water park that rivals Six Flags... honest! It also has 2 pavilions that I noticed. Great place and I understand that the cost is pretty reasonable for the water park.”

Edward "Ted" and Pat Jones-Confluence Point State Park

Address: 1000 Riverlands Way, West Alton, MO 63386, USA

Park

“A beautiful treasure near St Louis where Missouri River meets Mississippi River. The entry to confluence park is through a gravel off road. It’s amazing to see the waters merge. Loved being at this place. A must visit, want to go there again! Good for bird watching too!”

Vogt Brothers Park

Address: 500 Fairgrounds Road, St Charles, MO 63303, USA

Park

“Small newer park with a decent playground for kids. It has bathrooms, a water fountain, a small basketball area and a pond. My kids enjoyed it. As a parent, the only down side is the young trees ... I like to have a place to relax in the shade while the kids are playing. You won't get that here for a decade or two!”
