“You can smell the pizza inthe parking lot. They use the best cheese. Start with the fried ravioli and marinara to dip each piece into. Salads are great and the house dressing is a must try. “Great food and great staff. The place was clean and the service was pretty fast. The guys making the pizza seemed happy to be at work, and the two ladies were really nice at the register. The pizza was great and the crust was very light and tasty! My friend got cheese sticks and a Philly, and they said both were delicious! Everything had a beautiful golden brown crust, just right, not burnt, not undercooked, pure perfection. Cheese sticks even had a perfect pull! I’ll be visiting again.”

“As a previous long-time resident of St. Louis, I had forgotten about prior favorite pizza places in St. Louis. In town this week for a family visit, and someone suggested Massa's in Town and Country. My prior visits years ago were at the Bridgeton location "The Old Place." All the family now lives in St. Chas County, so Massa's Town and Country was closest. Walking in the door, memories came flooding back! The place even smells great! The Italian salad was served in an ice cold bowl, the house dressing delicious, the "small" was HUGE! We tried a chicken and black olive pizza, the "The Tony" = sausage, bacon, onions and tomatoes. Both pizzas were great, perfect St. Louis-style thin crust, cooked perfectly, with a creamy blend of mozzarella and provolone cheeses. Clearly still on top of their game at Massa's. I'll be back more often!”

“I cannot believe we have lived just down the street from this place for 10 years and have never tried it. I've noticed some complaints in reviews about the atmosphere and decor, but these are the exact things we found charming about Veritas - it's a very homey, unpretentious atmosphere. The food was unique and incredible. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious (wish I'd taken pics), from the appetizers, both of our entrees, and the carrot cake dessert. The only complaint we had was that everything took so long (but this was actually also nice because it extended our date night dinner for longer than it otherwise would have been). I think there was probably only one waiter serving the entire dining room, but she was working very hard and the owners were also helping out where they could. We will definitely be returning!”

“A classy place for sure. The wait staff could not be nicer or more attentive. The warm bread was delicious. The side salad that comes with the meals was a little too drenched in dressing but the other ingredients were great with a good amount of mushrooms. The portion is very generous for a side salad. The salmon with pecans was cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor. The side of spinach and carrots was underwhelming. I would not recommend getting the carrots as a side dish. The caesar salad dressing was very powerful so be aware if you don’t like a strong dressing. The lunch menu prices aren’t bad but the regular menu can get pretty pricey. The overall experience was great and the menu has tons of options to explore.”
