“This is hands down the largest and most diverse trail system I’ve ever explored in Nebraska! If you’re into hiking, jogging, biking, or just long, scenic walks, this place has it all. There are multiple trails branching out in every direction, so no matter what route you take, you’ll always find something new. You could spend hours out here and still not cover it all—it’s that big! The variety of trails ensures you’ll never get bored. Each path offers different scenery, from open fields to forested areas, making it perfect for both relaxing strolls and more intense workouts. I will admit, on my first trip, I got a little lost—there are so many trails, and I hadn’t quite figured out the trail color system yet. But once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty straightforward and only adds to the adventure. Just make sure to familiarize yourself with the signs and colors before you set off! If you’re looking for a place to get outside and stay active, this trail system is unbeatable. A hidden gem for any outdoor lover!”

“Great place to get away, yet not to far from away. Cabin was clean and cozy, full use kitchen. Hosts were very nice people. Even with a rainy day to start it was a lovely place. Lots of birds to watch. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire once weather permitted. Will recommend highly.”

“This park is awesome. Lots of room for Frisbee, play catch, or just a casual walk around. Many wonderful events are hosted here, including exercise classes. Great, free summer concerts on Saturday nights during season; which culminated with a fantastic national act....all at no charge, allowing lawn chairs and coolers for the season , with food trucks sometimes, children's face painting etc. Family friendly. Nearby free parking garage...Close to cycling trail, small children's park, ice-cream parlor, shopping at Aksarben Village with many eateries and pubs. Sonny's outdoor bar nearby; plus the Inner-Rail fast food choices and seating indoor and out, with firepits. Sonny's also hosted free salsa classes and dancing...what a fun time! Aksarben Village and Stinson Park; with nearby Farmer's Market on Sundays; best in the city, are a very welcome city gem that showed up to bring music, food, life, and socialization back, on time after lengthy post-covid isolations, mass city construction projects, road work poorly planned and annoying causing generally grumpy post covid attitudes. “This place is a lot of fun. It's very cheap to get in which is amazing. The water slides are a lot of fun. The lazy river is one the best I've been to and the tubes are free to use. The big pool is cool with 2 basketball hoops, 2 rock climbing walls, short and high dive boards and a nice ramp to enter with. Never spent much time in the kiddie pool but it looked cool. The wave flow surf machine was awesome, even though I never used it. The snack bar is very good and reasonably priced. If you go GET THE BOSCO STICKS!!! We will be back and it's worth the drive from Omaha.”

Perfect for photos not only native, but also provides beautiful scenery for photos of all sorts. Very well laid out, providing a public restroom easy free access trail as well as a gazebo area. They also have a very beautiful water feature near the gazebo area. Acres of land is very trees, read descriptions, and historical representations of the various species of many sorts. Welcome to bring your dogs must be on a leash, however very wide area with a lot of land to cover makes for the perfect morning midday or early evening outing The part is at 9 PM however this time of year it provides a beautiful natural Source of fulfillment of wide assortment of colors being autumn nearing the very corner. Suitable for all ages, as well as offer as reservations. I wanna know highly recommended to-any and all seeking to have a simple convenient location to gather, or a day of entertainment and accessible further knowledge of the native land that surrounds us!”

“This park feels like it's straight from a movie scene. Having grown up in a small town, moving to the big city made me miss the charm of those intimate parks. Here, you see people getting into a game of basketball on a pristine court, families strolling by the large pond, watching geese bask in the sun, or searching for their afternoon meal. Kids are everywhere, tossing footballs, while the little ones conquer the huge playground. Even adults are letting loose, revisiting their childhood on the swings. Everywhere you look, there are smiles, laughter, and a symphony of shared memories. I'm truly thankful that in this fast-paced world, we still find moments for park afternoons, especially with gems like Benson Park around.”

“Camp A Way Campground is our 128th stop and we stayed for 7 days. Very convenient to I80 and 180 and less than 10 minutes to downtown. Check in was quick and the staff was personable/professional and we were escorted to our site. Chose a patio site (smoker, fire pit, patio furniture, swing and extra landscaping) - our site was huge! Speaking of huge, the dog park was one of the biggest we have run across in our travel and had nice grass. The park is kept very clean as was the laundry room. There are very mature trees throughout the park which provide excellent shade on the warm days. In terms of road noise, there is some but hardly noticeable inside. If you have kids, this place would be excellent given all the activities they have available. All in all, would rate this park a 4.5 and would definitely stay here again in the future. Connectivity (2:30 pm): Verizon 241.0 down/26.8 up; T-Mobile 71.8 down/3.89 up; Camp WiFi 70.0 down/42.7 up and was excellent throughout our stay.”
