“Great family fun. Best place. Warm and welcoming to newbie begginers even on the coldest nights. Knowledgeable. Helpful. I can tell they greatly care about the kids experience. Will always come back. New family hobby.”

“A fun and important place for kids, families and the neighborhood today, the Kountze Park has long been an important place for ALL of Omaha. As the historic location of the 1898 Trans-Mississippi Exposition, there's no other place like it in the city. I suggest visiting the three historic markers and the commemorative gazebo built to remember the expo as well as enjoying the fun activities and more!”

“This is such a pretty area to visit. The fountains shoot up higher than the overpass, which is super cool. Plus, it's a great place to take a stroll and/or take pictures. Also, it's free to go explore, so why not?!”

“Had the park to myself and my dogs loved it. GSP lapped the area behind the north ballfields and really had a good time. Beware the Nebraska Humane Society patrols the park occasionally looking for dogs not on a leash.”

“Nice neighborhood park. There's a walking path with multiple paths, but its relatively short (due to size of the park). There's a pool, two play areas, and nicely placed benches for shade.”

“For recreation it was great! Close to Omaha, they've made a lot of improvements since converting it from Sokol. Very clean and nicely maintained. Fun place to catch a concert or camp. Alcohol prices were fair. We had fun! Might try camping there.”

“Did an amazing job tinting my car! Love it, first vehicle I've ever had tinted out of 4 cars. Brought my friend to get her Jeep tinted the next day, we both couldn't be any happier. Great job by great people, highly recommended!!”

“Nice and not over crowded to enjoy your time there.”
Address: Papillion, NE 68046, USA
“It's very open with a few smaller bodies of water for your dog to splash around in. If you don't want your dog wading around in water, there's a nice fenced off area as well! I'd recommend taking your dog here if you're one who likes the outdoors and letting your dog romp around freely with others”

“Beautiful spot for a stop over on my way out west. Walked down to a tent camping site with my gear. The sites are pretty close to each other but the campground was almost empty on a Thursday night, so I felt very secluded. Recommend for anyone camping cross country.”

“Amazing! The swim beach was perfect, the water was clear and cool, you could see the fish swimming around. Huge beach so.it never really got too crowded. Lots of picnic tables. Lots of space to ride bikes and go on walks. The surprising highlight was the lake side shop. Lots of things to see, do, buy, and rent. They have pretty much anything you could ask for (or may have forgotten). Fire wood, sunscreen, dishes, condiments, sand toys, floating toys/gear for the beach, toothbrushes, fishing gear, etc. The staff was also super nice They also have a mining experience, you buy a bag for $7-$10, go to the mining station, and pan for your fossils or gems. My 3 kids LOVED it. Freshwater fill is at the dumpstation (first right after entering the gates) The whole trip was amazing and the whole family had a great time.”

“Bring the family! A hidden gem in the outskirts of downtown, with a beautiful view of downtown! The museum will take more than one trip to truely see it. Survives by the generosity of visitors, and guests. A fun, family friendly place to see U.S. Navy history, with the Last Minesweeper of it's class intact, with a submarine used for training by the U.S. Navy, and many more artifacts and vehicles! Be sure to stop on by! You'll love it, and appreciate it.”

“One of my favorite parks to visit when I lived in Omaha. It’s quiet, quaint, and my daughters loved it. Nothing fancy, but the open fields led to a lot of creative play. Aka pine cones as coconuts, and using tree stumps as stages.”
