Mary Jane Falls Trail Head

Address: 6-34 Kyle Canyon Rd, Mt Charleston, NV 89124, USA

Park

“Great hike up to Mary Jane Falls. Takes about 35 min one way if you are in decent shape. First part is on fairly even terrain, thereafter comes a somewhat steep ascent to the falls. I would recommend to wear good shoes but other than that no special equipment is needed. Falls are amazing and you are rewarded with a great view of the valley once you made it to the falls.”

Old Ski Tow

Address: 78 Mary Jane Big Falls Rd, Mt Charleston, NV 89124, USA

“One thing to better improve this area would be more waste receptacles. Seems as though visitors who don't find them just throw their waste anywhere they feel like.”

Trail Canyon Trail Head

“Great hike. Vertical incline. Not recommended for small children. Bring lunch or eat prior. Great views. Hike takes approx 2 1/2 hours depending on incline speed. Elevation at the top is approximately 9500ft.”

Echo Trail

Address: Mt Charleston, NV 89124, USA

Park

“Great dog friendly hike. Steep enough to be challenging short enough to have plenty of time left in the day for anything else on your schedule. The Little Falls trail is the trail we hiked.”

Acastus Trail

Address: Acastus Trail, Mt Charleston, NV 89124, USA

Park

“This trail is accessible from the Fletcher Canyon Trailhead parking lot. It is also accessible from the Spring Mountain Visitor Gateway Center also, but there is a steep grade and it is not recommended. If you want a nice shaded and educational outing, this is for you. The trail is paved, and it is easy to navigate. If you are a history buff or want to know more about the Mount Charleston area, the trail has access to the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) site. This is truly a fun trail and it is a great way. Restrooms are available at the trail head. CHECK OUT MY YOUTUBE Channel: Outside Las Vegas”

Cathedral Rock Trailhead

Address: Cathedral Picnic Area, Mt Charleston, NV 89124, USA

Park

“Beautiful Mt. Charleston offers miles of hiking trials in some of the most scenic wilderness America has to offer. One of only a handful of states that offers such diversity of geography, climate, and activities. The gem that is the Silver State and amazing Las Vegas Nevada !”

Trailhead - Mt. Charleston National Recreation Trail, South Loop

Address: Cathedral Rock Picnic Upper Rd, Mt Charleston, NV 89124, USA

Park

“This is the trail for Fletcher Peak and Mt. Charleston’s South Loop. If you’re aiming for Charleston’s summit but are scared of heights, this route has fewer cliff edges and becomes accessible earlier in the year. Though some places may have snow as late as July. After 4 miles you will walk within the tree graveyard from 2013’s Fire. Haunting beautiful is the best way to describe it. However even at 2 miles in you get a couple scenic overviews of Kyle Canyon. There are many sights to see and reasons to choose this trail. There is overflow parking (but is still usually full by 9 a.m. in the summer) and the restrooms have plumbing and are not just a hole in the ground.”

Cathedral Rock Group Picnic area

With several trails to explore, you can camp here for a week or weekend and enjoy the natural wonder and beauty of the site this place offers.”
