“We stumbled upon Ice Age Fossils State Park. It's a hidden gem with very little signage. There's a cable fence that surrounds the monument/park and the trails aren't marked. I highly recommend this park in the raw.”

“This is a great place for a stroll in an area that doesn't really feel like you're in Las Vegas. The fossil stream beds are interesting to explore and you can find some fossil invertebrate shells if you're observant enough. I do not recommend hiking here during summer it can be dangerous with extreme heat. Winter and early spring late fall is the best.”

“I love this park it has everything you can imagine. From water play area to multiple different levels of play ground. It's perfect for all ages... Its even got a dinosaur sandbox and a waterfall which has ducks you can feed with your children. It's so close to my home too and there is a local library right in the same parking lot.”

“Plan to take another photo when it's raging with water. Nice job North LasVegas! The second and third photo I took was taken on Valentine's Day when we received over an inch of rain in a 9 hour period.”

“I really enjoy taking my son to the back park because it's so close to home. This weekend I learned it's a better park for the evening time as it gets a lot of sun during the morning hours. Love the grassy areas to run through, though they can be a little muddy in areas. Taking the time to pick up trash left around by previous park-goers keeps the area presentable and teaches my kids values.”

“This park has it all, a baseball diamond, tennis courts, soccer fields, dog park, picnic areas, walking paths and playground. The playground doesn't have a swing set just a slide area that is fun for my 2+ year old but is much better suited for 5+. This is the reason for the 1 star reduction. This park will do the trick but isn't the best in the neighborhood.”

“Friendly dog owners, overall very nice and maintained facilities. My only issue is the lack of grass and abundance of sticky grass seeds. It took me 45-60 mins to groom my dog at home to rid him of the mess. I'm not friend Vegas so maybe that's the norm here. I'll definitely be checking out other parks and surveying the grounds before I let my dog loose.”

“Many childhood memories here. Has a baseball diamond and a small jungle gym. Has been seeing a lot of riffraff lately. Good for running.”
