“Clean well maintained. Used dump station and it was cleanest I've seen anywhere! A parks employee was sampling potable water, which I love to see.”

“Beautiful grounds and great place to enjoy nature. Plan on lots of walking, this is a great location to hike. The butterfly house was beautiful but not very many butterflies compared to other butterfly house I've visited. The train ride was a good way to hear of the history of the preserve. Bring lots of water we had a hard time finding a spot to purchase a bottle in here and you will need it.”

“I liked this park. My dogs had a blast. Their wasn't alot of people so they were free-range the whole time. No one seemed to care and they even got to play with other dogs. My 1 year old had a blast as well. She crawled around the toddler area for 2 hours.”

“Well maintained parking lot with easy access to the trail. It was a nice ride starting here to the Hoover Dam and back. Amazing views and a well kept path that is paved and unpaved (dirt/gravel).”

“An absolute gem and great family get away. We biked the East-shore trail path near Incline village all the way down to the beach. The bike ride is fabulous very scenic and worth the mild incline workout. If you are not use to the altitude and or are not comfortable on a bike I suggest you walk it or rent an e-bike. Both options very popular and thus mildly congested at times.”

“I really enjoyed my visit, as this spacious well kept park is setup for all types of play. There's winding sidewalks through out the park that led me to a shaded playground area, basketball courts, gazebos, baseball & open fields. There were bathrooms, plenty of benches around, an exercise area plus a dog park. Definitely going back to see how far the trails go. NOTE: Construction is underway for a new community center, expansion and upkeep so be prepared for lots of additional fencing and areas to blocked off.”

“This park is nicknamed “shady park” because it is one of a small handful of parks that got the shade cover right. We can play here any time of day — even a quick few times up and down the structure in the middle of a hot summer’s day. There are plenty of trees, and a nice tan awning over the play structure.”

“Such a sacred location. What beautiful country this is. Ground yourself with mother nature. Legend says that Pyramid Lake has swallowed a few humans.”

“I received a Botanical Ball from Tracy and it is absolutely amazing. The small balls absorb water and retain it, until it needs to be watered again. (The ball will sit in a small bowl, in about 2 inches of water and absorb all of the water after a few mins when it needs watering) the balls can then be placed throughout the home for decor, being their own vase, they will not have any runoff water, after absorption. They’re stunning. Affordable. I purchased this one for only $35. And they’re a perfect way to bring nature into the home and contribute to any space. I will definitely continue to buy these wonderful botanical balls!”

“Used them for a mountain bike rental and the shop owner Bud was awesome! Went way out of his way to make sure I had a good experience. Even went as far as riding with me from the shop to the trailhead to make sure I didn’t get lost. Great bike too! Will definitely be using them again”

“I've only visited this place in the autumn and winter, but it's a great hidden little campground. The road to get in is a little rough but is short. I've towed my 34' trailer in and out no problem, even in the snow. Ice might make it too slippery to get up or down the small hill into the campground, though. It has easy access to the river and a couple sites have views of the river. There is a vault toilet. There are no services (no water, no RV dump, no power). There are picnic tables and fire rings. Fort Churchill proper is just two miles up the road and it does have water and an RV dump. I've always assumed it's permitted to go there to get water and dump the tanks if you've paid to stay at Scout Camp. There's a horse corral and manure dump.”

“This park is pretty epic. Usually there are 2-3 homeless people chilling at this one table but they usually keep to them selves. There are also some awesome splash pads and really nice play grounds. I did a backflip off of the swings once. It was pretty epic. Dm me if you want the video. Missions are here relatively often, usually in the mornings between 10-12. They will teach you about Jesus if you get too close. It is also next to a high school, so if you come during the day make sure to check the slides to make sure no couples are in them, so that your kids can stay innocent.”

“Tahoe is just what can you say beautiful. From the entrance off highway 50 you drive down and you can either go to boat launch area or turn left and pull into the parking area. You are supposed to pay after you park but it was pretty expensive and I only stayed 10 minutes to take a few pictures and get some fresh air. I love Lake Tahoe it was a beautiful day with temperatures in the high 60's. This is one of those places that is refreshing and breathtaking with things to do outdoors year round.”

“This a a wonderful historical place to visit! The museum is excellent and told the story of the fort very well. The remains of the buildings have been maintained and the trail around the fort is very informative with many signs. I particularly liked the bakery. Close by is the Carson River with a picnic area and a campground. Bring a picnic when you visit!”
