“Bruised Boutique is a very special place. I have purchased two sets of skates and various gear and accessories, and I am super happy with all of my purchases. I have never met a crew of people that know more about the many brands of roller skates, all of the components of skates, and all of the brands of gear that they offer there. Every single employee has incredible knowledge, and is friendly, down to earth, and welcoming. The set up of the shop is super cute and the vibe is warm and fun. Every person in the skating community in the upper New England area knows Bruised Boutique, and sings its praises. In addition to a great skate shop, they also offer skating lessons, and you can book their ramp. Every lesson that I have had with Allie has been really impactful in my growth in skating. She is an amazing coach, friendly, easy to work with, and so positive! It would be great if I lived closer so I could come visit every week!”

“I've shopped Hannaford for years. Well stocked stores and they look good too. Great butcher and seafood sections. They just reorganized their checkout areas and now have 15 self-checkouts! My only complaint is that since Covid, their prices have skyrocketed. While I know prices have gone up everywhere, it seems that Hannaford's have gone up exponentially higher than other stores. I'm willing to pay more for a nice store that provides a higher grade product, but I do have my limits.”

“Dittos on the comment about how this HomeDepot has improved over the years. I used to joke how the Homer Orange Aprons would scatter if they saw a customer coming towards them. Although I work on stuff down near South Lowes - I take the time to go to Exit 6. I have had very few occasions where I had any problem over the last 5 plus years. Someone wrote "the associate says, let me go get someone...." I don't have a problem with that. The Pro desk is wonderful, everyone especially Sue. Those folks have helped me find a thingamajig that is almost the size the doodad in my hand but larger than a gubbins. (taking photos to the store really helps) Management has listened to me when i have a complaint without getting defensive. And I DO talk to them when i am happy and when I want to compliment someone. “Love this location. I call it the "trying to do it yourself location but need a little guidance". DWH location is good for contractors, not so much for do it yourselfers since it is very busy. Amherst Street is good for picking up things you need and know what to get. All locations have limited help and often I have to chase someone down if they don't get away. Sometimes best to go to service desk for tracking someone down. Workers 8 have talked to know their stuff.”

“Bird Supply is a fantastic pet bird store. They have anything one could possibly need for their feathered friends (inside or out). They are also very knowledgeable about anything to do with pet birds. The store itself is clean and well organized. You can find any kind of bird seed (and any other bird foods) you need. From small to 50lb bags. The whole staff is friendly and helpful too. They're so good that we readily make a 4+ hour round trip to them.”
