“I had Dr. King for two of my pregnancies and he was the most kind, respectful, intelligent OB I’ve ever had. I went through 3 OBs before I got to him and he is the best! 😊 There was a receptionist here that didn’t know what she was talking about, though. She told me I had to switch doctors at the end of my first pregnancy because supposedly they didn’t accept the new “Obama care” insurance that took effect around this time. She said they only accepted “straight MediCal”. Once Obama Care came around, I had to choose between IEHP and Molina… I don’t know how all of that works whilst still being considered MediCal… but she made me believe I had to switch doctors and I was devastated. When I got pregnant again, I decided to call and see if perhaps that lady didn’t know what she was talking about.. and behold, I was told by a different woman that they do accept IEHP. If not for that horrible receptionist, I would give 5 stars.”

“I have been living here I believe since 2010. I absolutely love it here. It’s quiet, clean and the maintenance crew are quick to resolve your issues. The office always has some kind of activity going on to win stuff(and I have won a few times), ice cream truck, taco truck, cook-outs and so much more! “I have been settled in here for a few months and have nothing but good things to say about Highland Estates. The staff are wonderful and are eager to help with any questions or concerns. When I first moved in I had a weird smell in the apartment. I thought nothing of it, and figured it was new paint or something that would go away. Turns out I was very wrong and it was coming from a few stains in the carpet. Meghan B. immediately took care of the issue and sent over professional cleaners right away to clean the carpet. It still didn't get rid of the smell and Ralph the maintenance manager replaced the whole carpet in that room a day or two later. Great service. Meghan and Ralph went above and beyond to ensure I was happy. What is also easy and stress-free is the fact that you can pay rent online through paylease. I would definitely recommend red oak if you're moving to the area.”
