“2nd time here. We arrived at 4 pm- before anyone else on a Saturday evening. The manager welcomed us right away. We had the shrimp torte appetizer, and we bought our own wine. We ordered the Lamb Tajin, Shrimp and Long Island Clam. Absolutely delicious !! For desert, we had the bread pudding with ice cream. Lemon never disappoints, and the manager and staff always check in. Highly recommend.”

“We came here after an 8th grade graduation and it hit the spot for Italian food! Everything we ordered was great. I got the chicken francese, which is on the lemony side, and we ordered some pasta and the cheesesteak (phenomenal!!!). Their service was superb too! Our food came out fast and the server was super nice. We also just ordered catering for a future party, and I cannot wait to try out some more of their food. I would totally reccomend coming here if you're in the area!”

“I have had the club salad in the past....amazing!!!! Tonight I tried what I have considered a weird soup ( lasagna and turkey sausage). I also had the crispy BBQ chicken salad. Tremendous!!!!!!! “Stop #7 on our Summer Hot Dog Joint and Diner tour 2018...and a long time favorite, The Windmill Hot Dogs in Freehold, NJ. Windmill is an icon on the Jersey Shore, and rightly so. Their large flat grilled snappy natural casing dogs are excellent. I prefer mine kind of well done, split open and a bit charred. They are served on regular white rolls. My son Jason's dog was plain (of course). I love topping mine with the combination of their spicy brown mustard and hot pepper relish. The hot pepper relish is what pushes these dogs over the top for me. I paired my dogs up with their famous cheese fries. Just awesome...”

You get free cookies to snack on in the waiting area by the register. Food came out pretty quickly as well. We went during a slow time so I'm sure that helped our wait times.”

“Met a friend who is a regular here for lunch. Very friendly, attentive staff and quick service. Two companions ordered the chicken and broccoli lunch special while I ordered the chicken and cashews. We all started with egg drop soup which was delicious. The noodles and sauce on the table was also fresh and very good. My entre had a slightly off taste but both my friends said theirs was quite good. I'll definitely be back for another meal. I'll order something different next time and report back.”
