“Ivan did a great job and cleaned me up nice. Best haircut I’ve had in 4 years. I will definitely be back in the future when I need a top notch cut, but would be able to come more often (weekly) with a lower price for a fade. There are very few active duty Marines in the state of New Jersey, and with the tightest hair regulations in the armed forces, an active duty military discount sure would go a long way in letting me come back more often. Until then, I’ll have to mix it up somewhere with half the price.”

“Sarah was a great waitress! Cheerful and attentive! The roasted sea bass was divine. The view of the Navesink river was beautiful. The main seating area is a little loud. The upstairs is much quieter, but hard to reserve. We arrived at 11am. The main dining room was empty except for a huge table with teenagers and we were seated right next to them. When I requested a different table the maitre'd seemed irritated and said every table was reserved. In an empty restaurant I don't understand the logic of seating a quiet party of 2 next to a huge load party of 10! She seemed resentful to seat us elsewhere. Very disappointed in her attitude. In the service industry being of service is an undervalued virtue. Instead of being positive, smiling and saying "let me see what we can do!", She had a horrible attitude. Thank God Sarah made up for it with charm and kindness!”

“We recently got a puppy from here and we were so happy with our experience. Lacie is so sweet, professional, and informative. The store is very clean and well maintained. It’s not the typical pet store where you can go in and just pet dogs, which I liked because the safety and health of the pups are her main concern. I have all the power work, name of breeder, and certificate which makes me feel at ease he came from a wonderful breeder. If you are looking to purchase I definitely recommend Bark Avenue.”
