“Newly opened and recommended by a friend and colleague who lives in town. They raved about their takeout. We ordered pizza (Sunday Gravy) and pasta (Genoa Pesto) to go. At home they both looked very good prior to reheating and both reheated very nicely. Nice! The pizza had flavorful meat topping and cheese. Loved the crust a little too much in the sense that you try not to eat the crust-ends so that you can have another slice, but you windup eating the crust-ends anyway and have to put off the extra slice for the next day to avoid over eating more of this delious pie. My wife puts this pizza in the top 10% of the places she's had. The pasta and pesto was flavorful and balanced without being oily and overly seasoned. We want to go back for more takeout to try some of their other dishes. Though we did not eat there, I did note they had three distinct dining areas (High tops, small tables and what appeared to be another area for slightly larger parties). On a personal note: though the state has temporarily rescinded mask-wearing, the food preparers and wait staff were maksless. For anyone who cares about this sort of thing.”

“I grew up working in an Italian deli and Pascarella Bros brings me right back to the days of my youth. This place is everything a good classic delicatessen should be. The staff is very friendly and pleasant, even amid the lunch rush. It goes without saying that the food is phenomenal. The bread is soft, lunch meat is super fresh, lettuce is crisp. Even better, the tomatoes were actually ripe which is like the icing on the cake for me. Couldn't be happier to live around the corner from the best deli in the area.”

“The River Grille is a great local bar. You can go and get a pint and a good sandwich at the bar. The food is very good, and they have a pretty big selection of beers on tap and in bottles. The lunch special at the bar is really good. Be warned, the sandwiches are BIG. If you aren't that hungry, you might want to split an appetizer and the sandwich.”
