“Went to the hollow for dinner at the bar. Ordered the hallow burger, brussel sprouts, kale aesar salad, and a beer. Total came to about $50. Not terrible. The food was excellent. The burger was perfectly cooked. The kale caesar I definitely recommend, it was big and tasted great. The sprouts were ok. A bit spicy for my liking but good. The burger does come with a spicy ketchup too so be aware. The service was pretty good, very friendly. But was doing many things at once like stocking and chatting with customers more than they should. Was hard to get another drink or to ask for anything. Other than that I would definitely go back again.”

“The woman serving us was patient with our questions. I forgot the name of the sandwich I had (it came with ham, cheese, tomato, lettuce and pickles) with pickle slices on the side. It was really tasty. Just a side note: the pickles start off sweet and then get really spicy after a few seconds of chewing.”

Crispy fried Tofu as an appetizer was not up to the mark. It lacked seasoning. But... Seafood soup was too good. And the portion was too big for a person. Small amount eaters can share an order. I loved every bit of it except I missed shrimp in the soup. It had crab, mussel, and squid(not sure what was that). My husband ate pad Thai with chicken and again it was big in portion and full of flavors. He couldn't finish it so we took the rest away at home. Thai is only three something dollar. Mind blowing taste. No one should miss. We spend in total $40 ($5tip included)”

“We found this spot on Google and so happened friends recommended their beef chow fun, so we came to check it out. The beef chow fun is good, has strong “wok-hay”! But the dim sums were mid. The shrimp dumpling (har-gow) was not good… the skin was mushy. The chicken feet was bad… way too much pepper and not what we expected. Their HK milk tea was solid! So go for the HK Milktea and Ice Lemon Tea for sure. The service was good without being over bearing; which is awesome. If you’re around Albany, for sure give it a try!”

“Girlfriend and I went here for lunch and picked up some food for dinner. We ate in the dining room while we waited for the to go order. She had small cobb salad, and I had a large Greek salad with double grilled chicken. Both salads were absolutely delicious. I also had a dragon fruit mojito that was very good as well. The service we had at the restaurant was very good. Very polite man took our order. The food came out fast and hot. The restaurant was also very clean inside. Our to go order was two large pizzas and wings. They were good as well. Definitely will return for a meal again sometime.”

It's pretty hidden- inside of the Celtic Center on New Karner Road but you'll be happy to find it. The Jamaican food is authentic... especially the rice and peas and sweet plantain- whew *chef's kiss*. Garlic shrimp was tasty the brown stew chicken was so good. “I love this place. As a student many years ago, I had used D’Carlitos for my senior recital at Saint Rose. The food is excellent overall. Great owners! I went back to try the penne vodka chicken pizza, it is still delicious as always! One point off for the slices of pizza I had ordered. The pizza had been clearly sitting out in the restaurant. I noticed that they had pizza that had been sitting out when I came to pick up the order. Their pizza is usually very good, I was just disappointed in receiving cold pizza. I hope the next time I come back to Albany that the pizza will be fresh and hot.”

“I rarely leave reviews but damn this food is good! I couldn't choose because everything looked amazing. Yesterday I had a chicken bacon ranch Stromboli adding broccoli and tomatoes. Their marinara is very flavorful so I am sure their pizzas must also be wonderful. Today I tried to order a meat Ala cart different from the meat in my meal, but got the same in each. It's fine because the sweet chili chicken is delicious with a kick. I'll just have to try the herb roasted chicken (what it looked like) next time. Mac and cheese, even their pasta salad was great 👍”

“What a wonderful experience, made reservations, was sat on time. Beautiful decor, perfect lighting. Our waitress was attentive, and polite. We started with the half loaf of bread with sauce, pasta fagoli, and meatballs, all delicious, and generous in size. I got the the linguine with clam sauce, it was exceptional.
