“I LOVED my ASA course with Sail Buffalo and I can't wait to do more! I took an "intro to sailing" course earlier this summer and was left with a lot of questions and wanting a lot more. Sail Buffalo's ASA 101 course answered those questions and more and I can't wait to continue on to 103 and 104 as early as possible next summer. The people here are phenomenal, so kind, friendly, and welcoming and so so so knowledgeable and supportive of their students. Even their junior sailing program counselors were so excellent and fun I wish I was a junior sailor. I could listen to Pierre's stories for hours and in three days I learned so much from him and got so much more confident in my skills. Anything you're nervous about you'll get the change to practice over and over until it feels totally natural and sinks in. Pierre is clear and direct with his feedback and will push you without overwhelming you--he's excellent at teaching and building confidence through direction, feedback, and repetition. I also really appreciated how Pierre wanted to know my goals for sailing and was excited to work together to get me there. Also excellent value for the price of the course--I learned 10 times as much as the other course I took. I know now that I not only have an excellent place to keep earning certifications and learning new skills, but a safe place to practice them, ask questions, use their boats (as a member), and explore opportunities that match my interests all within a wonderful community of people. I would recommend Sail Buffalo to absolutely anyone in a heartbeat, especially after trying another course. If you're looking for a sailing school, whether for a kiddo or an adult, look at Sail Buffalo.”

“So one of my pastors didn't see my car a couple of months ago and crunched it a bit. We got a couple of estimates for the repairs. Leroy worked with us and the price was right. I didn't want our pastor to be strapped with a huge bill so I opted to forgo some of the work. The car was repaired for $879 which I thought was a great price and when the car was complete....I was extremely happy. Leroy was able to work fix the one area I said we'd forgo. You would never have known there was a boo boo! Great work and highly recommend them!”

“So, bit on a long story but here goes. Live about 5 miles from the shop. Right after they had just opened my car battery was dead and I needed a jump. I called and they came over and got me started right up. To my horror I only had $8 cash on me. No problem they said. About a year goes by and now I have a vintage RV. It died in a busy intersection. Had it towed over to their shop figuring I owed them some business after their good deed to me. They had my RV up and running in 3 days. Took 2 days for the ordered part to come in. Not bad at all for a 1978 van. They sorted out the issue, inspected the vehicle for me, and I was on the road for a very reasonable sum. Two weeks later I’m back to the shop after a deer hit me coming home from a trip. The guys give it a look over and agree with my hopeful wish that the damage is all cosmetic. They tell me what to keep an eye on just in case and off I go at no charge. I tipped them for their time. Glad to have a new shop close to home that does good work at fair prices.”

“UNMATCHED Professionalism and Customer Service!! A supply glitch made them an hour late, but unlike so many other contractors, we were informed of the delay! Seriously folks if you need spray foam insulation, THIS is the company you need to do the work. I had an untimely setback with Covid, and Jim stayed in touch to make sure I got back on their job list as soon as I was past it. Young man named Justin came in, and was meticulous in everything he did. He covered everything with plastic tarps, and outlets with tape, kept me in the loop as to progress, and then cleaned up everything when the job was done. Jim came by two days later to inspect the job, and only then did he ask for payment...(who are these guys?) Other than myself when I had a business, I know of no other contractors that do this. GREAT JOB! If I remodel the other side of my basement, I will call them! Thanks Jim and Justin!”
