“I just happened to be in this corner of Brooklyn for a customer meeting and had a hankering for some Caribbean food. This place exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent! Curry goat was flavorful and spicy, rice and peas perfect, plantains amazing and the pickled cabbage wonderful. Excellent price point for no frills take-out. Staff was warm and friendly with the Caribbean hospitality I would expect. This is definitely a new favorite when I pass through the neighborhood.”

Make sure to walk with cash if you do decide to try. Overall the jerk chicken was decent but a bit salty, I'm from Florida I've had better jerk. Rice and peas was really good, fried plantain was too thick and not fully riped and steam cabbage I enjoyed.”

I would like to see this restaurant offer more specials especially for lunch the food like I said is great but the inability to order a lunch special makes it extremely difficult for the workers in the neighborhood to enjoy this food. I ask that that owner create smaller plates so that everyone can enjoy the food here because for one person it is a very pricey lunch. Other than that I have nothing bad to say about this place I only gave four stars for not catering to the general public working class during this time especially.”

“Great food comes to those who wait!! The food is worth the wait. I ordered rasta pasta with jerk chicken and a small Irish sea moss at 4pm. I got a text from the restaurant that my order was ready for pick up at 6:55pm, but I went at 6pm to pick it up. It was ready at 6:15. It was all just delicious. And it is a good helping of food. It is clean inside with many signs of their menu items. There is usually a short line, the wait is not long. I like that their fried chicken is usually crisp out of the box. Their fried fish are pretty tasty too. I haven't tried anything else on the menu.”
