“This place is a hidden gem and we are so lucky that this is practically in our backyard. The owners are so nice, and they make a mean sub. They're open for dinner on Thursday nights and it's comfort food at its best. We went last night for dinner and they were the best Golumpkis I've ever had. We took it to-go and I ate the entire thing, including the homemade lemon cake. I love this place!!”

“We bought a historic one of a kind schoolhouse with good bones but no finish. The previous owner left an ambitious project half done-coffered ceilings in two classrooms. Calvin, Kevin, and crew were willing to use the materials we had on site and source the rest, which saved us some money. They didn’t just match the ceiling we already had, they vastly improved the design and durability. They also repaired badly done plaster and drywall, repaired busted up wainscoting, put in insulation when possible, and came up with an elegant solution for damage from an old radiator installation gone wrong. His painter, Broc, works hard, is flexible, and listens to suggestions. Because of the unique lighting situation I could only see spots that were missed in the late afternoon sun, but Broc and Calvin didn’t hesitate to come back and take care of it until I was satisfied. All his employees are gracious, highly skilled, and have a commendable work ethic. Sometimes it’s awkward to have strangers in your space day after day, but it was a pleasure to have them in our home. Now the room is absolutely breathtaking. Anyone who enters or sees the photos cannot stop talking about how amazing it is. They tell me I did a great job and I always correct them. It’s our contractor. We hired Calvin again to work on the (enormous) exterior this summer. Calvin Thomas has a good feel for historical buildings, the eye of an artist and the knowledge of a master craftsman. His goal is to be the best contractor you’ll ever hire. So when you receive your estimate from Thomas Construction, remember you get what you pay for. We paid for the best, I can’t imagine a better result, and this beautiful room will outlive us all.”

I limped my vehicle to 3 other shops and all wouldn't even see me, I turn up to KC and they saw me straight away, offered me a quick fix and excellent advice. Managed to get back home to Westchester. Food came out super fast even though it was busy! We got pasta dishes but it seems that the burgers and sandwiches are the more popular items and we would get those instead next time. The chicken was just okay. Huge menu with lots to find and great prices. But good food and seems like a popular place worth trying! Shopping nearby too!”
